Hi and Intro

Hi All, My DH and I are older ( I am 42 and he is 41) and we are TTC#1. We got married in June and started trying right away. I am doing my best to stay away from these boards because although I know the odds are stacked against us I am trying to stay positive and am hearing a lot of negative. We used on OPK last month and will likely continue to do so until we hopefully get a BFP. I just wanted to say hi and see if anyone can share some older positive success stories. Good luck to others whom are trying!

Welcome and good luck. I recommend reading the Ultimate TTGP Guide pinned at the top, there is a lot of great info in there. I would suggest temping and checking CM along with the OPK to give yourself the best possible timing.

I'm 40 and had my DS at 39. I've been seeing a RE just to make sure we're covering all our bases! She prescribed letrozole and progesterone. We also have had ultrasounds to make sure I'm ovulating and to check my uterine lining. It's been nice having a doctor help us through all of this! Welcome and good luck!
