What's for lunch?

Since I've been feeling blah, I have been surviving off of grapes, salt&vinegar chips, and broccoli the last few days. Inspire me, what are you having for lunch or dinner?

Re: What's for lunch?

  • Fruit and yogurt for lunch.

I'm super excited about dinner. It's leftover corn chowder from this recipe: https://www.cookingclassy.com/2015/06/summer-corn-chowder/

It was my first attempt and it came out so good.

  • Lunch was leftover buffalo chicken and cauliflower casserole (so good!).

Tonight is Taco Tuesday - the one dish that isn't chicken nuggets or pizza that my kids will actually eat!
  • Leftover pasta and chicken and (from a jar) vodka sauce with added sautéed mushrooms.

Dinner may be take out since our budget has reset for September :)

  • I had a BLT for lunch. I think I'm going to make fajitas for dinner.
  • @Tippy05 - Taco Tuesday here too!!!  Internet high five!

Leftover CBR (Chicken Broccoli Rice)... it's going to be my go to I think.  Easy to make a boatload of it on Sundays and filling with enough carbs/protein to get me through my 430 workout.  Been having trouble with having in enough in my by then that i'm not a shaky mess during my workout.
  • Campbell's soup for lunch because I need something quick and easy at work and soup is the only thing that always sounds good. And dinner is different from every family member tonight. I'm having "grown up" mac and cheese (fancy but store bought) with turkey kielbasa (like the hot dogs and mac from my childhood), steak for DH (gag me on grilled meat), and probably breakfast for dinner for DD...I swear I'm not a short order cook but I can only handle so many types of food right now.

  • Lunch is pepperjack Mac & Cheese and sweet potato chips. Dinner might end up being saltine crackers and strawberry water like last night.
  • Spaghetti for lunch, tacos/nachos for dinner.

  • I'm heading into week 6 and the nausea is hitting me like a truck. The only thing that sounds good for lunch is 1-2 plain chicken strips. Most likely soup for dinner. Ugh.
  • Leftovers of this:

    3 miscarriages - 1 DS (6) - 1 DD (3)  - #3 due March 30!

  • Ugh everything sounds so gross. Jello and crackers it is :(
  • After a really rough morning, I managed to keep down a Luna bar and a small cup of the Bob Evans mac and cheese. Dinner is too uncertain; now-a-days I can't plan ahead because it comes dinner time and I completely change my mind about what sounds apetizing!
  • Lunch one was leftover homemade fajitas.

Since I threw that up, lunch two was a grilled cheese sandwich.

    Spaghetti for dinner.

Yum. Dinner may have to be grilled cheese and tomato soup. It's September, I can pretend it's fall for one night right - who cares if it's 90 outside?!?

  • I WISH I could stomach veggies! I had a PB&J and a sliced up peach for lunch. I mainly just eat carbs at this point. Clif bars and cheese its are my staples.

  • Making baked chicken, mac n cheese and green beans for dinner. The thought of making it is repulsive to me right now, but I know my husband and DS will love it, so I'm gonna get my rear up and make it in a little while.

    Spaghetti for dinner.

My plan of fajitas for dinner is much less appealing.
  • I mostly feel sick in the evening, so dinner is the most missed meal for me. For lunch this week I made chicken and kale enchiladas. Next week I'm craving this vegan quinoa chili, so I'm going to make that.

BLT is now in my list for tomorrow... Sounds so good!!!
  • I had leftover whole wheat pasta with homemade turkey meatballs, and a garden salad for lunch. Then had rotisserie chicken with white rice and black beans for dinner. Luckily I have not had any food aversions this far!
