help, please-how do I add tickers?

I've tried about 10 times to add baby age tickers, but it never shows up. Can someone please help me? After I make one, where exactly do I copy the code they give you? Do I use the html or non-html one? When I copy it, should it look like a ticker or a line of code?  If I've done it all right so far, why doesn't it show up?
