Hey everyone,
I just found out today that I'm expecting a boy! That's what I wanted to I'm super excited about it.
I already had both names picked out depending on sex, Khemya for a girl and Kingston for a boy (the K is for the dad, Khem)
After sharing with my (very opinionated) family, half of them loved and the other thought it was a bit weird.
What do you guys think?
Re: What are your opinions?
It's your baby, and you should choose the name you love. Everyone will get used to it and learn to love it once LO is here anyway!
But if you and your husband love it, go for it. Maybe just don't share with others anymore if you don't want to hear their opinion.

Baby boy born 01/2016
Currently: NTNP
My brother in law and sister in law did not tell anyone the name they picked out until baby was born bc they knew it wasn't a name everyone would like. My nephew, River, will be 3 this week and I couldn't imagine his name being anything else! People will eventually grow to love it.
If you genuinely want to know what people think and it may change your choice, then I say start considering other options. I'm not a fan of any names with King or Royalty sounds to them. It's very trendy and doesn't translate well into adulthood. Plus it feels like a inferiority complex- I don't like Princess for a girl either.
If you are open to suggestions, here are some K boy names:
Kyle, Kevin, Keith, Kenneth, Kendrick
It seems like you like less traditional. How about Knox?
DS1 2010
DS2 2013
DD1 2016
I've only seen it a few times.
(I'm having 3- if all were boys we were going to name them Griffin, Grady and Gavin- it's 2girls tho)
Kingston isn't terrible IMO. There are a lot of ways you could go completely wrong with a baby name and that's not one of them.
