Irregular periods?

i got my first period in july, and nothing in august! I don't want to freak out cause i read that it's not uncommon for periods to be irregular after childbirth specially while breastfeeding which i am doing exclusively.

It would be great to hear real life experiences though instead of articles to put my mind at ease so how have your periods been?

    I am exclusively breastfeeding as well and since July I've only had one day of bleeding. I'm on the pill as well but i haven't gotten my period yet. My little girl is 3months

    Same here. I had a heavy period lasting a week in July and nothing and no signs of one coming in August. This may be tmi but I also have weird stringy discharge that has never gone away since giving birth. It's as if my body thinks it's constantly ovulating. Also exclusively breastfeeding.

    I'm exclusively breastfeeding as well and haven't had a period yet. Freaks me out a bit but apparently it's normal.

    Still nothing, i asked my mum if she knew any stories of women who skipped a month and weren't pregnant (my family shares more than it should lol) and she didn't know any! I might ask hubby to grab me a test tomorrow..

    Not sure if this is helpful, but I had what I thought was a period 7 weeks pp when I started taking the mini pill. I was super bummed because I'm ebf and felt gypped that it'd come back so quickly. I'm now 14 weeks pp and haven't had it again. And I know 100% I'm not pregnant! So it's definitely possible.

    My LO is 4 months and I had a cycle in July and then randomly have been spitting. I was bummed too that my period came back so aoon since I EBF. And this week has thrown me for a loop. I spot every other day. It's crazy and so annoying!!!

    ThaNk you all so much for your input, i took 2 tests and both came back negative!!! Wohoooo! Good luck to you all and i hope it works out for the best

    Seems like a trend...on the mini pill, EBF, had a period in early July and nothing since. So strange. My second child, same scenario with the mini pill and EBF....and I didn't have a period for 8 months. But this time around, I had one 8 weeks PP!??

    Has anyone had brown spotting here and there but no period yet? I'm ebf and lo is 17 weeks. Had one day of spotting a week ago and 2 days ago, only lasting a couple hours. Can't see myself being pregnant as Dh and I have only been intimate twice and were careful.
