How did your 37 week ultrasound go?

Just curious, for any moms who had a 37 week ultrasound, how did it go? Were you able to get a good picture of what the baby looked like, or good info about the size/position of the baby? I have mine later today and I'm just curious what to expect!

I had one this morning since baby is measuring small at 38w. Our LO is extremely uncooperative ha, always has been. He is very low. But we were able to see half of his little face and get measurements. He's measuring at 5lb, 8oz for 38 weeks. Larger babies that don't have much space left may be more difficult to get a good picture of

I've had one at 37 weeks. They were mostly able to say how large the baby was and look at essential functions - practice breathing, heart etc. But the visibility on the features such as the face are harder because there isn't much room and Baby is squished up against something.

I had one at 36 weeks and got really good pictures. They did give me an estimated weight of 5lbs 13oz.

Baby was too big and too low to get a good pic at mine. They gave me a pic but it was not very good. They were able to get measurements. At 38+5 she measured 7 lbs. she was born at 39+1 and was 8 lbs 1 oz.

I didn't get clear pictures but my little mans face is kissing the placenta so that's why, you should be able to

They couldn't get good pics because he was squished. They measured him at 7lb 9oz at 36w 6d which is a tad large. Similar to the ladies above, they measured and checked organs/functions. Good luck!

Well it was my 5th ultrasound and second one for growth scan. Baby was stubborn as ever and shy. She likes to hide her face with her hands which she was doing again. I was really frustrated because the tech that we had the time before tried six different times to get a good 3D and we did get a pretty good one, this one tried once and said "Well sorry she just won't cooperate" and then shut it off and was done. Grrr.

Omg that was my baby too! I had one at 33 weeks n she was kissing the placenta! I love it!
At 33 weeks she weighted 5 lbs, I'm almost 36 weeks now...

We were only 36 weeks, and couldn't get good pictures because he was facing the back and head down, and she was using the little portable one with a tiny screen. She didn't even take measurements beyond the size of the head. Our baby has never let us get good pictures. I'm convinced he's camera shy like our dog. Rosie knows when a camera is pointed at her and will stop whatever she's doing and turn her face away from it, lol. Baby boy is doing the same thing and it's so adorably annoying haha.

I didn't have one last week but had one at 35.6 weeks a week prior and he was 7 lbs, 14 oz but we didn't see his face this time because of his position.

BTW this is what my baby looked kissing the placenta lol

I had mine and yes... Baby is kissing his placenta, using it as a pillow also. Couldn't get a good 3d picture because there wasn't enough fluid in front of his face because of the placenta. I'm surprised with the weight. I have been measuring low throughout the whole pregnancy and his approximate weight is 7 lbs. I'm only weighing 125 lbs now. I'm 5'6. Crazy.

Had one last week at 36 weeks, she was estimated to be 5lbs 15oz so a good sized little girl :) she's head down, low and face down so we didn't get to see her cute little face :( she had her feet by her face also, so we think she'll be a toe sucker haha. Had one again on Wednesday, hoping I can see her face this time :)

At my 37 week ultrasound she was head down and weighed 7lbs 7oz (86th percentile). Her head was measuring 40+4 (95th percentile).

I had my ultrasound today and they estimated the weight was 6 lbs 15 ounces. I guess we'll see how accurate that is soon!

Had mine today and his head is already in the birth canal neck down so they weren't even able to get head measurements but everything else measured outbperfect. Did take 25 minutes to get baby to practice breathing on the u.s but he was 5 pounds 2 ounces at 35 weeks so unsure what he is now since they won't do another growth analysis until 39 weeks

I have mine tomorrow and this is making me excited! Last ultrasound he was 4 pounds 10 ounces and they think that he'll at least gain another 3 pounds before he gets here! The 3D pictures kind of freak me out because I think that it looks like a melting wax baby. My LO had his hands in front of his face squishing everything and some how the tech took his hands out of the picture and you could only see his squish face...which made him look deformed...yeah. I didn't like it. I hope that this time it's a little better.

At my 36 week US, baby boy was estimated to weigh 6 lb 8 oz. He was already head down and facing my spine so the only picture I got was of the back of his head, lol. He's measuring about a week ahead.
