Nausea

So, twice now, when I'm up in the MOTN feeding baby, I've been overcome with a feeling of nausea. Not sure why. It happened once a few days ago, and it's happening right now. Anyone else experience something like that?

And, no I'm not pregnant again...

Re: Nausea

  • Could it be hunger? I often take snacks to bed for the night as I get so hungry. Lack of sleep could also be a factor. My partner took charge of the night time routine for the 3rd time in 4 weeks last night and said I dont how you do it night after night.....because I am superwomen thats why haha xxx

  • I always get nausea when breastfeeding or pumping. I drink a lot of water during which helps a little.
  • I had that feeling a lot postpartum with my first, it was so bad sometimes that I actually took a couple pregnancy tests lol! I think it must be the changing hormones : /
  • When I was pregnant I found that anything with a good amount of magnesium in it helped with nausea a lot. Oatmeal and pumpkin seeds are two things that I used a lot. I opted for foods that are high in magnesium versus a magnesium supplement. And most of all just trying not to allow yourself to get to a low blood sugar level
  • I also often get nausea when breastfeeding- especially in the evenings. I think it's caused by metabolic stress (like getting sick from running too hard). I find the better hydrated and fed I am the better I feel.
  • I don't BF but I've always found that I get really nauseous if I wake up after sleeping for less than an hour and a half or so. It's why I don't really do naps.
