Update: My roller coaster ride continues...

So I went in for my Ultrasound today. I should be between 6-7 weeks. The nurse said I am measuring about 4.5 weeks. She said she could see a small yolk sack but that was it. She was very nice and answered all my questions but basically just said that we will probably have to wait a week and try again to see if anything has changed. I really don't know what to think and I am just sitting in my car crying. I knew I might be a little earlier than I thought but that's 2.5 weeks.

Yes I was. I ovulated on the 31st. I had what I thought was an implantation dip on 9 dpo and I received a very faint positive on 11 dpo.

Yes, I had my first draw a few days after my positive test, so maybe 13 or 14 dpo. It was 32, then 6 days later it was 105. Then 5 days later it was 587 with progestrone 8.5 (that was one week ago today). They put me on progesterone and on Thursday it was 1,300 with my progestrone at 19.5. So it was doubling within the 72 hour window.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I was also temping/charting and I should have been 7 weeks tomorrow but the ultrasound taken last week had me at 5w2d and they saw a yolk and sac so now I'm 6w today based on the last ultrasound. The betas were consistently rising however, my OB said the levels & ultrasound although rising appropriately, she wasn't expecting to see anything other than a sac and yolk sac at the time of my ultrasound. So I'm trying to remain positive and I get another scan next week Tuesday. My OB also noted that since I was on Femara at the time, I may have ovulated later than what my charts show.

I'm so sorry. I'm in limbo too (for different reasons) and it's so tortuous! Try to rest, relax, and be as kind to yourself as possible while you wait. Best wishes!

I am sorry you are going through the same thing. I hope both of our little beans catch up soon. This wait is going to be horrible

I am going to try. At the moment I still feel pregnant so I am going to try to focus on that as a good sign.

I am in a similar boat. I thought I was 8 weeks last week but only measured 5w6d. I just had betas done today, and then they want me to come back next week for ultrasound and more betas.

All the uncertainty is so tough. This seems like it may be a common thing. Prayinf for everyone going through this type of situation!

Update as of today: The doctor called me. She told me it looks like I'm measuring 5 weeks. I should be somewhere between 6-6.5. I guess its better to be a week behind than 2 weeks but still, I'm concerned. She said she won't be able to tell much until I get another US to see if there is any growth and if there might be a heartbeat this time. So I'm going in for one in 10 days. Thank goodness I was able to schedule one in the evening so that my DH can be there. I know I will be a mess if the news is not good.

Please keep your FX for my little bean.

Ugh, HUGS. Limbo is the worst. How many weeks should you be based on O at the 10 day ultrasound, and how many based on where they measured you?

I will be 8 weeks 1 day at my next ovulation. If I was measuring about 5 weeks at the last one, that would mean I would be somewhere around 6 weeks, 4 days at my next one.

I am an idiot. I just responded to your other post and forgot I responded here. I swear I'm not usually a flake. How are you feeling? How many more days til the follow up? Was the US they did transvag and on good equipment? That can really make a difference.

@NachosAndPeaches thank you for checking up on me! I am feeling pregnant to be honest. My breasts are killing me and I am having lots of cramping and pulling today along with lightening crotch and butt. I am taking these as all good signs, as if the bean is growing.

My next US is on the 10th in the evening. The one they used before was transaction but to be honest I am not sure how good it was. It was just in the doctors office.

Unfortunately, I have found that I haven't been able to feel connected to this pregnancy yet because of the possibility of it not being viable. I hope on the 10th I will see a little healthy bean and I can start to bond because we are only having two kids and I really want to enjoy my last pregnancy.

I went through the same thing 3 weeks ago- thought I was 7 weeks but they only saw a yolk sac, and she prepared me that either dates were off and I was really earlier, or that I might not have a baby. One week later ultrasound found a healthy baby measuring just at 7 weeks and and we heard the heartbeat, it was the hardest week of my life waiting, but it did have a positive outcome and I'm 10 weeks Friday! Stay positive and best wishes for a great outcome for you too!!
