For the past couple of days, I've been grappling with all of the delights that come with the common cold - congestion, sore throat, dry cough, general achiness. My OB told me that basically all I can take is Benadryl, Mucinex and Tylenol - none of which is doing much to help. I'm the kind of person who, in the past, would chug medicine (Nyquil, Ibuprofen etc.) to help the symptoms, so not being able to now is rough. Any good recommendations on other ways to help get me through the cold? What has helped before? As long as its baby-safe, I'm willing to try just about anything!
Just went through a terrible cold. Took exactly what your OB recommended. Plus some tea, steam to clear congestion, warm honey and lemon. Aside from that just rode it out. Feel better soon.
