20 minute contraction

if the contraction just stays and doesn't come and go is it a real contraction or just Braxton hicks?

I had these after my membrane sweep last week. Doc said that it is just uterus irritation from the sweep. Real contractions she said only last 60-90 seconds. BH can be ongoing and not let up. I've had belly tightness and what feels like cramps for a constant hour once and had to go sit in the bath tub to get it to release. No fun.

That's has to be it. I'm sitting at work but it's been constant. I left early the other day for what turned out to be nothing so I don't want to jump the gun again today. It is incredibly uncomfortable

I'm still working too and my desk chair is so uncomfortable that I get a lot of BH, but nothing promising. I work up at the hospital I'm delivering at so it makes me even more anxious knowing that just upstairs lots of babies are being born.
