I have no nesting desire!! Not sure if it means baby girl is no where near ready to come out or if I'm just not one of those women who gets crazy with nesting
I went through a nesting spurt like a month ago I cleaned everything and threw away pretty much anything that was not tied down haha but now I have no motivation!
I wish I had a case of nesting,my house is a mess! I'm considering taking my mom up on her offer to come help clean. I'm just too tired to attempt it at the moment.
I am super tempted to hire someone to come clean our main floor and the bathrooms upstairs. The kids rooms and hubby's office can be left alone but I think my energy is wearing down for a major kitchen cleaning.
And I don't see that as lazy...it's working smarter, not harder. Someone still has to clean out the pantry, make freezer meals, get the kids to school, do laundry, etc. someone else can come scrub the bathtubs.
Totally counts I was a lazy nester with #1. It was DH who decided it was time to clean the house top to bottom (because family would be coming to stay) and I just washed and packed baby stuff. I went into labour that night in my nice clean nest haha. Our friends had the same experience-he felt the need to get everything finished and packed away, even though she only had one week of work left and planned to do it the next weekend. She had the baby 3 days later at 36.5w, had to go back the next week after discharge to clear her desk and report off on her projects.
I have I desire to clean but I've even organizing the house for a week or so. Feels good to find things I haven't seen in years. DH won't let me use cleaning products so that's all on him. Hopefully soon he'll catch the nesting bug!
Glad I'm not alone!! Can't wait for the cleaning lady next week! I'm exhausted and think it's totally worth it! Glad I did all the baby stuff months ago and can just relax till baby comes. Gotta do it while I still can lol
I did a ton of cleaning this weekend. I wish I could have hired someone to do it for me! I got so much done but now I am beat and I have to go back to work tomorrow. ( I would rather just stay home and put around putting things away. I feel like I can get it all done, but now I just need a baby!!
I want to scrub my floors pretty bad but leaning over and doing it sounds so awful. My belly makes me so uncomfortable. I have a lot of things I want to do but no energy or motivation. I'm hoping my husband gets a wild hair and does it. I also want my car sparkling and clean but 95 degrees and vacuuming and wiping it down also sounds terrible.
I want to clean & go through everything to organize it! but I don't have the energy. the motivation is present but with little sleep and little movement cause the belly & or bending down mobility is limited D; my hubby & I live with FIL & MIL temporarily & she's cleaned my room a few times (which I was upset at myself about cause I couldn't do it & she did its embarrassing!) but I want to clean so badly now I might take up her offer on helping me do it this time seeing as I have 2weeks left till baby us due to arrive. at least I got his clothes all washed and out away!
