I would die without my..

I recently was gifted a pregnancy pillow. I thought these things were incredibly stupid and useless.. But holy crap on a cracker it's been amazing!! I can finally sleep or just hang out comfortably. It even helped with hip and back pain! I'll never go back, I'd die without it now. So what's been keeping you guys alive during this hell they call the 3rd trimester?

  • Coffee, you know, for the lack of sleep!!  But it's not as much coffee as I'd like to have. :(  Body pillow for sure!  @SarahAnne1101 is so right about the nightlights! We put 2 in a couple weeks ago and they are a lifesaver.  And one little luxury I'm soooooo glad that came with my new car...a remote starter.  With this ridiculous heat we've been having, I start the car (with the AC blasting) as I'm walking out of a store or wherever I am so I'm not sweating like a pig when I get in it.
  • I put up night lights too for all the night time bathroom breaks I have to make in our dark house! And icy hot for my sore hips and back.
  • Zantac and Tums! My digestive system never really took to this whole pregnancy thing.
  • Before I even clicked I thought my snoogle pregnancy pillow lol I don't know how I'm going to say goodbye to it after I have the baby.
  • My snoogle and Nexium!!!
  • Sugar-free fat free pudding! It's the one thing that keeps me sane with not being able to have ice cream thanks to GD.

  • My bed, a pool or lake to swim in - been going at least once a week, my doggies' snuggles so I can channel all the love hormones. Ice pops.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • Yoga pants and XL sports bras. I can't stand wired bras or pants with my belly band anymore.
  • Back rubs from my husband!
  • Swimming! I swim laps for 30 min 3 times a week. It's helped a lot with pregnancy sciatica and I think helped maintain a little tone in my back, shoulders and upper arms. Plus, man does it feel good when I'm sweating, even in dry 80 degree weather! I just wish I hadn't waited until my third trimester to start!
  • My pool and AC! It's been so hot I go back and forth from my pool and into the house for the AC. It feels so good on my swollen feet too.. Ahh
  • My Bella band for sure! I am still wearing my pre-pregnancy pants, just unbuttoned & with the band. It's been a life & money saver!
  • My husband and tums!
  • My husband, my mom and my nalgene. I drink water nonstop all day long I NEED it. Drinking from a glass is a joke. I need my 32 oz jug! DH picks up everything I drop, he cooks twice a day and cleans like crazy. My mom listens to me complain all day long as I text her from work. I call her everyday and most of the time I'm complaining and she takes it with a grain of salt. She was also pregnant with me around the same time (my bday 10/19) so she remembers exactly where she was at and what she felt around this time. I feel spoiled.
  • Air conditioning and this week mini snickers chocolate bars!
  • @briraeh -  ilove it. i had a puffalump dog when I was a baby. His name is Puff. Still have it in my closet and I'm 26, married and on my 3rd kiddo. My kids sleep with it when they are sick now. DS is curled up with him right now - ear infection. I'm not ashamed to admit I slept with for weeks after I miscarried.
This is the kind I have. Is it the same as yours?
  • AC. I haven't had one in 5 years and was able to have one starting mid July... I seriously would not have made it without it!

Ceiling fan (we don't live in a climate where AC is the norm), MM shaper because it keeps me perfectly supported, Tums & Prilosec. Husband - just because he is amazing and all of my dear friends and their wonderful hand me downs! Oh and the ability to work from home (aka the sofa in the last month or so)!

    Oh and my Birkenstock sandals.
  • My snoogle and Tums!
  • My body pillow, and my husband make laying down in bed possible. Hubby has been using a peppermint lotion to rub my back before I lay down for bed and it makes breathing soo much easier.

Mini-vacuum. I have pets with lots of hair and hardwood floors. My new little vacuum makes cleaning way easier than when I was sweeping.

My large double-wall tumbler cup thing. Haha. I bought it for 0.88 at Walmart, it doesn't sweat, and it's BIG so I can fill it up and sip on whatever water or juice I have.
  • My bimonthly pedicures! It makes it so nice to have my feet rubbed and nails painted every two weeks. Almost makes me feel human for an hour.
  • I would die without my ridiculously expensive coconut water. The swelling in my feet and hands is out of control and painful. I can't even make a fist anymore. I elevate arms and legs and hydrate but nothing takes it down like coconut water. It's brutally pricey but I have to splurge for the last few weeks.

  • I don't think I would be doing as well without my:
    DH
Snoogle  (DH went out and bought the snoogle, without me asking, and surprised me with it)

Herbal Muscle Mist from Holistic Earth Remedies (The company name can sound a little off putting/something to be skeptical about) but all this spray really is, is a combination of natural oils and it really helps with sore muscles.
DH sprays my back every night before bed, when I'm not even sore, and it prevents the soreness that started in the 3rd trimester, from waking me up at night, or making mornings harder.

Use the Snoogle and Herbal Muscle Mist together, and that is a combination I can not live with out right now.

    Also:
    Zone Protein Bars,
    Orange Juice
Just Discovered those P3 packs (lunchables?)

I'm not sure what kind you like/buy but my hubby gets his coconut water in cans from Walmart. I think they're 0.98 each? Still adds up if you drink a lot of them but though I would share! I see them in the middle aisles on big "island" show case shelves and also in the foreign foods section where all the Mexican/Asian foods are kept. Blue and silver can. :)
  • Air conditioning!

Amen! I'm lucky enough to work in a research lab with no real clothing restrictions besides long pants and closed toe shoes. I would be lost without AC and tank tops!
