I'll start: my secretary said she can tell I'm having a boy because I'm carrying in my hips! Who says that?

Literally Everyone (including the painters who were doing my neighbors apartment) told me last time that the baby was a boy because of how I was "carrying" the weight, and because my bump was "high and round". One lady even explained "I can't tell you're pregnant from behind so it must be a boy!"

I have also had a daily commentary by a coworker about how baby must be positioned that day because of how big or small I look. Same coworker asked if I'm sure there's only one in there. WUT?!

Women with children should know what's highly offensive to say, right?

I work in retail and I had one customer who told me that I must be carrying triplets and another who said she was sure I'm having twins and one must be hiding. I'm only having one.

@Sunny2015 ummm why is he looking at your ass and telling you that he is looking at your ass by saying that?

I have 1 family member that keeps saying things. I usually ignore her though. Its just super annoying that she repeats some comments and some just come off as if she doesn't think before speaking.

1. The baby can't be born on the 13th. That's MY birthday and December is already too crowded. Call me and I'll help you keep your legs closed until after midnight.

2. Don't go into labor early. It will stress out your poor mother. Get through your wedding first at least.

3. Add a couple pieces of unsolicited advice.

4. Stop using your pregnancy as an excuse ( because vomiting after eating or smelling certain things, does not limit my food choices and what have you, according to said person).

That's what I can remember for right now.... but yeah...

I had a co-worker ask "Are you sure they got your due date right? You look like you've dropped and are ready to deliver."

No, my 2 doctors are idiots and we like to just guess when the baby is due. The ultrasounds are definitely NOT accurate. What the hell lady?

Well this one isn't really bad, more so silly. My SO told me I have to have another baby soon, so that I can have one to play with. Because he's apparently going to hog our 1st child, all to himself.

This lady at work who doesn't have kids said "wow you're 6 months? You look so much bigger than 6 months!" I replied that I look the same as the women in my prenatal class who are 6 months.

Another girl at work who is young and silly keeps pointing at me at saying "twins, I know it's twins" every time she sees me. The first time she said it to me, it was at a meeting in front of 60+ people and yes- everyone heard.

So tired of "how are you feeling?"

I'm pregnant. I rarely have a full day of feeling normal when you factor in gas, heartburn, fatigue, bloating, body aches, and feeling huge. Please don't make me smile and lie one more time. You really don't want to hear my complaints.

"Are you sure your due date is right? Your huge!" That was when I was 20 weeks so I replied with "yes my due date is right but who's to say it's not twins" smiled and walked away. This was at my husbands family reunion so it got everyone talking and going crazy thinking I was having twins!

I work at a school so no one knew last year. I slowly started telling people when it felt natural. I told one older lady and said it was a bit of a shock and she said "oh, so you weren't using protection" I couldn't believe she said it. And super judgey Truth is I was on the patch and had a little operator error (oops). I felt bad about it for a while especially since I'm not married. SO has been deployed all this time so it's been a little stressful being alone. However, I'm done feeling bad about any of it. That lady and anyone else with rude or judgmental words can suck it.

I don't get that either. I have that happen all the time. It used to really get to me cause one second I'd be worried I am gaining too much weight and the next second worried baby isn't growing. I'm over it now. I don't care what anyone else thinks. My doctor says everything is perfect so I think I'll trust a licensed professional over everyone's weird perceptions.

Yes! The "How are you feeling" question is so old. I usually give some gritty details, b/c hey, they asked, but then add that I do think I have it better off than some. After reading this though, I've decided that from now on when someone asks, I'm just going to say, "Pregnant. How bout you?"

Also, I am by no means huge & I've gotten the twins comment a few times. Why do people think this is funny? It is so NOT funny. A-twins would scare the shit out of me. (God bless you twin mom to be out there.) B-You are implying that I look big enough to have two babies in there. How is that not offensive?!!

But the worst so far is a woman at the dog park, I like her well enough, but I just "came out" of the baby closet & stopped hiding my bump & she now makes these "BUM! BUM! BUM!" noises as I walk into the park & acts as if the ground was shaking. Again- not funny. I'm just over 150! Gimme a break!

I got asked by a client at work the other day if I was having twins when I replied no her response was oh I was that big and I had twins, good for you love!! I carry my babies very well at the front!!

When pregnant with my son I got told I look pregnant in the face, why thank you!!

People can be so rude!!

I haven't gotten anything too crazy except people saying that I'm "too small" for how far along I am.

But two interesting encounters at my local grocery store...

1. Before I found out I was pregnant, I was picking up a pregnancy test and the cashier who was scanning me was like "ooohhhh!! That's exciting for you guys?!" Awkward.

2. A week ago, another cashier keeps staring at my belly and is like "is there anything new with you?" Now that was kind of cute.

I'm am so sick and tired of people (even complete strangers at the stores) asking me when I I'm due. When I say December 2nd they have this shocked looked on their face as if they were expecting me to say any day now.

Then as I was walking by at the mall a lady says very loudly to the person she's with, "wow she looks miserable!" Wtf do you expect it's 112 degrees outside!

People are very insensitive to pregnant women.

It only gets worse. What I found out was that when you are pregnant, people want to hold the door for you all the time. This is the time when you are perfectly capable of opening the door all by your self.

Then when you get the baby out, and have a stroller and a diaper bag, etc. BARELY ANYONE wants to help you open or hold the door. I've had people let the door slam shut in my face instead of holding it when I am struggling with a stroller with a baby in it. Yep.

This! I'm not sick person. But I feel like I weigh a million pounds, my back hurts, I can't find a comfortable sleeping position, I have indigestion, and I feel like I got punched in the gut and can't catch my breath for 85% of my day.... So normal for a perggo, how bout you? Lol

I like how on the same day one person will tell me I popped, another will say I'm barely showing, and a third will say I've gotten huge. Uhm...ok...?

But my FAVORITES have been "it's starting to show in your face" and "well, they do say that girls take your beauty."

F. Off. (And also maybe I'm just effing tired from not sleeping well, sore everywhere, and hungry.)

And these came from women. Who are mothers. Of girls.

My belly is huge for 25 weeks. And everyone tells me so. My family. Friends. Coworkers. Medical professionals.

I also had a shop assistant at Pumpkin Patch (kids clothing store) ask me lots of personal pregnancy questions...when was I due, boy or girl, have we picked names, have I felt much movement or kicks.....where about has my placenta attached.....

1. Are you sure you're not having twins?! ( at 24 weeks) this is a very common one. People think they're being funny and conversational with this one but in reality you're just calling us huge.
2. "You and your cousin are due at the same time? *looks at my cousin, looks at me* Well, you're bigger." I replied "Well, I started out bigger so that's probably why." What else are you supposed to say to that??
