Pain during intercourse?

i know we can't "hurt" the baby, but I'm 10 weeks and I feel like every position hurts! I can't help but feel bad for poor baby! Not to mention me! I enjoy sex very much and wish to continue. Is this normal? Does it get less painful as baby moves up towards belly button area?!?

You can't hurt the baby (unless you are actively on a pelvic rest - then you need to listen to your OB/Midwife). Try using a ton of lube - your body chemistry is way off right now.

It was ok for awhile. I'm almost 10 weeks and it's recently become uncomfortable. Like my cervix is in the way all the time. Sorry if that's tmi lol

That's what it's like for me! My cervix usually moves "out of the way" when I start feeling frisky, but lately it's been all up in my husband's business during sex... It usually helps if we just keep switching positions and see what works for that day.

That's what we've been doing too. My OB said it's common for that to happen since everything's in the process of moving.

Then it's incredibly awkward. And then there's the sex to get labor started. We are talking Shamu sex here. Not pretty.

Glad I found this thread. Burst out into tears tonight when nothing felt comfortable for me and it hurt more than felt good. But I really really wanted to! And I felt terrible for DH and he was being so amazing. Really hope there's at least a magic period in the 2nd tri that feels better.

I feel like having sex most of the times but my husband treats me lik im glass... And even when we do it.... It hurts in missionary position too ... Only in week 13... Phew...

Sex feels like the worse thing in the world to me right now! As soon as my husband comes close and asks me if we can "do it" i make this ehhhh face and i just go with it for his sake, but he has no idea how much im not enjoying this lol. Its like Im scared every night thinking oh no do I have to go through this haha. It sucks because it was never like that and now im just all scared to even have sex because of the pain I get during and after. It feels like everything is shifting all over the place eh

Use lube, and make sure you do a lot of foreplay beforehand because when a woman is aroused her vagina literally lengthens and grows! If you have him go in when you're not fully aroused he will hit that wall and it's very uncomfortable! And definitely try new positions, it will make it more fun too!
