Dirty finger nails!

Hi everyone! So such a weird question...how do you keep your LO finger nails clean? I do bathe my daughter and keep her hands clean, nails trimmed as close as possible but they always seem to be filthy by the end of the day! I try to pick under them with my own while she's feeding or sleeping but I can only get so much. Any suggestions?

Hmm haven't noticed that problem.
I use a tiny emery board to keep the short. Still kind of scared to clip them

I clip then file. I find just clipping leaves the corners sharp and they scratch bother her and myself. And filing alone takes forever and her nails are so flexible they just fold.

I clip them short and then take a soft brush, wet it a little,and rub it back and forth over his nails ! The bristles get all the dirt out !

I clip them when he's sleeping in my arms then just run the corner of the clipper under them lightly to get the junk out from under them. Honestly I don't even know how they get so dirty.

I bite his nails when he is nursing. He is too wiggly for clippers.
