Re: Stepdaughter felt baby brothers kick for first time❤️

  • So cool! I felt baby from the outside for the first time today. I could see my stomach twitch, which was totally weird and wonderful. Husband is bummed that he didn't get to too!

  • How many Months are you ladies? That's so freaking adorable!!!!
  • I am 20 weeks with my first, and was really surprised because it seemed early to feel from the outside.
  • Thanks! I was so happy I had my camera ready incase he did kick :) I'm 20 weeks and 2 days. This morning she walked into our bedroom as her dad was getting up for work then crawled into bed with me and asked if baby is awake yet lol I said nope..530 is too early for him to be awake.
  • So sweet!  I can't wait for DH and my step-kids to feel our baby girl kick.  It makes it so much more real for them.

  • That's beautiful. My DSD's are talking to my belly on a daily basis. It's so sweet and to feel the kicks too?? That'll probably make me cry. Thanks for sharing.

  • I got DH to feel a kick just a day after I started feeling them (about 18 weeks) but since then (20 weeks now) he's only maybe felt it once. Every time baby has a dance party as soon as DH puts his hand there it's instantly silent in there.
  • Aw, so sweet! I haven't even felt her from the inside yet (18w today FTM), but I'm SO looking forward to not only when I can feel her, but when DH can feel her from the outside. I feel like it makes things so much more real for those not carrying the baby :)

  • 21 weeks and been feeling kicks since 20 weeks on tummy SO got to feel baby kick at 21 weeks it was so amazing!
  • That was one of my favorite moments with my step daughter! You could see on her face that it became so real to her. She's been so good to her baby brother. I've only felt this baby from the outside a couple times, therefore nobody else has either. Hopefully, she and daddy will get to feel baby girl soon. I don't think it has quite sunk in yet that there will be another baby here soon.

That was happening for us, too! I ended up keeping my hands on my stomach and just telling him to keep his hand by my belly then he finally got to feel a few kicks and couldn't wipe the grin off his face☺️

My stepdaughter has been making me laugh. At one point, she was "mad" that she's getting a brother then after she felt kicks last night, she's been completely different. She's in soccer right now and after her practice this past Wednesday, she walked up to me to give me a hug and kiss then put her hands on my belly and said "be good baby!!"
  • @laur0n my step daughter is almost 8 years older than my son. We were really unsure how she would take it because she's always been the center of attention, and daddy's girl... so the idea of sharing the attention with a baby that stays with daddy (she stays with her mom during the week) worried us. She's also always wanted a sister. So of course, my first was a boy (the only boy in the family). But we got her excited once she realized that everyone in the family/close friends circle had girls and everyone wanted a boy (11 girls total). She's been awesome. Now she's getting the little sister she's always wanted :)
