Spontaneous Waffle Day in the Office!!!!

So I got to work this morning expecting it to be a normal day of finishing up End of Month accounting stuff, when one of my coworkers told me that her team was doing some food experiments across the hall. I poke my head into their sweet to be slapped in the face with the delicious scent of warm maple syrup! One of the guy's needed to break in his new waffle iron, but he lives alone so how better than to make waffles for the whole team.

Luckily, I am an honorary member of every team in the company so I stuck around. I opened an outside door to prevent smoke alarms from going off and wafting the smoke from the test waffle as it cooked. For helping, I got to have the first proper waffle! (I am sure baby bump helps, but they rock regardless) We ended up making two batches of waffle batter and close to 30-35 waffles! I had 2 of them, one with blueberries!
