Hello Beautiful Ladies!!
I have done a quick search and I don't think anyone has asked this before so apologies if they have! BUTTTT I'm trying to get to the bottom of all this "how should you eat your steak" controversy!
Me personally I'm a medium-rare type of girl so I just wanted to confirm how I can and can't eat my steak (I've been craving steak like crazy) I've done a lot of research and all the answers are so conflicted some people say that it's ok to have steak at least medium as long as it's sealed others say well-done is the ONLY way to have it and others say that as long as the meat is fresh enjoy it how you like!
I am SO confused and just really want some clarity haha because as I said steak has been such a massive craving for me but if I have to have it well done I'd prefer to try and avoid the craving haha as that is "ruined steak" to me haha.
Thanks in advance ladies!
Xxx
Re: The steak controversy
For what it's worth I also eat raw sushi from reputable establishments.
This is baba no 5 and I have to say this is the first time I've ever worried about what I'm eating so much!! 19 years ago it was no liver, no raw eggs and no soft cheese. So I probably consumed most of what we can't eat now!
I don't see how this is considered a controversy. An excerpt from the American Pregnancy Association, "Raw Meat: Uncooked seafood and rare or undercooked beef or poultry should be avoided because of the risk of contamination with coliform bacteria, toxoplasmosis, and salmonella."
That being said when it comes down to it, it's your preference. Personally for me, anything pink on meat grosses me out.
