I've been seeing floaters in my vision since week 20 (now week 25). My OB is not worried since I don't have high blood pressure or protein in my urine, and I also saw an Opthamologist who told me my eyes we're healthy but to watch if they get worse. Has anyone else had this? I keep getting reassured they are harmless, but it still makes me worried since this is my first time being pregnant.
Re: Eye Floaters
Considering the fact that you have normal BP and no protein in your urine:
Floaters can be a sign of aging, vitreous shrinkage (vitreous detachment,) or something more serious like either a retinal detachment or inflammation. For this reason, you should absolutely contact your ophthalmologist immediately if you notice further changes in your vision such as flashes of light, more floaters then you could count on your hand, cobwebs or a veil-like effect in your vision or any other significant change from what you are seeing right now.
"Silent migraines" absolutely can be accompanied by floaters however there is a laundry list of symptoms which are far more common and it is more likely to be accompanied by at least some of the other symptoms of a silent migraine. Please note, silent migraines CAN be set off by hormonal changes such as those that take place in pregnancy.
"Ocular migraines" typically present as a kaleidoscope like effect and can be accompanied by tunnel vision. Typically headache is not a part of it (though it can be.) - just preemptively addressing this.
SO... Floaters can be scary, especially if you have never had them before. Try not to stress too much and just be certain to follow up with your ophthalmologist. Certainly hope that you feel better soon!

They don't go away once you have them, but your eyes will start to ignore them after awhile and eventually they'll float to the bottom.
