I know that we are all probably at different stages of feeling fetal movement, and that as pregnancy progresses, the feeling changes, but how do you describe it to your SO, your kids, or anyone else who has never been pregnant?
At one point early on, I described it as "like someone lightly moving their fingertips across your skin, but from under your shirt," but at this point, it's "like the feeling of a fish in a bag of water, when you can feel it swimming around, but inside your body, and less thrashy and more slow, wavy, or somersault-y."
Anyone else?

Jamie
I'll spare you the alien gif.
I do like the goldfish in a plastic bag comparison. If it's a close friend or work colleague that I am comfortable with I ask them if they want to feel from the outside and say it's like that, but magnified and on the inside. Little man is moving around so much now. My belly is moving with his bigger kicks.
And when she's kicking my insides and my cervix it feels like a thunderstorm is going on in there - rumbles and booms - it's so strange.
