LO Swollen Lips After BF

Hi there! We are going on the second day of EBF my LO & I notice that both her top & bottom lips are swollen after each nursing session. The swelling seems to go down between sessions, but I haven't heard anything about this? Is it normal? I know we have some latch issues due to her tongue & lip ties (had them revised this week) but it really only hurts for the first 30 seconds that she latches on.

    It's normal. The sucking motion makes the blood flow to lips higher which makes them swell or get puffy. Same goes for kissing. Next time you make out with your SO take a look at your lips :)
