I've got two wonderful boys already, so I would love a girl. However in our family the odds aren't too good (dh has 2 brothers and all 4 grand kids are boys too). But if we do have another boy at least I will know what to expect already!
A healthy baby would be nice. I find this slightly insensitive to those of us who have had losses and would do anything to just have a baby in the end. Who cares how it pees.
Seriously guys, im sure there are many out there who would like a boy vs girl or vice versa. And do we really have to say after every post "any sex is fine as long as the baby is healthy" well of course we all want happy and healthy babies!!! I dont feel it needs to be stated all the time. And its not rediculous to have a pull towards one sex or the other.
Hey everyone! I wasn't trying to upset anyone with this Poll. I just thought it would be fun to see what people were wanting in the end. I'm sorry for those that got offended. I know plenty of people who have had miscarriages or other things, but it wasn't to be rude. I'm terrified of having a miscarriage. That's why I posted this, to think postively about this pregnancy. Thanks
We have DD- so a girl would be great for her to have a sister (I have one and we are bffs) and then sharing all the clothes we have. But a boy would be great bc we'd get to experience that. I just want a healthy baby and can't wait to find out what we're having.

Well, on the flip side a large number of women are disappointed / depressed once learning the sex of their baby. So while the poll might have been added to be lighthearted and fun, there ARE a number of reasons that it might not be perceived that way.
Oh my goodness, this poll was in no way insensitive. Many people have a preference, that doesn't make them evil! And most people who don't get what they want, end up loving their baby just the same in the end. Can we just stop?

The italicized line seems to be in reference to my comment, which in no way was rude or disrespectful, just informative. By your comment, it seems that you might actually want to read up on the disappointment / depression that can happen to mothers hoping for one sex or the other. It is a real thing and can be quite severe. Please do not dismiss this, which it seems like you are.
Sigh. OP it's just a fun post, don't worry about it. and I want a girl! ( And my friend who wanted a girl last year and got a boy is obsessed with her little boy and can't imagine life without him so... There you go
When I was 4 years old, and my mom was pregnant, she asked me if I wanted it to be a boy or a girl. I figured that since I already had a brother, I should get a sister, and told her I wanted a girl. I was pissed when it turned out to be a boy. I mean, why did she even ask me just to ignore my decision?
31 year old me already has a son and would like a daughter who can wear all the cute girl baby clothes. I think the older brother/ younger sister dynamic can be adorable. But brothers are great too, and I already have a million boy clothes. I will be so happy either way.
This poll is just for fun guys. Some people have preferences and it's ok to talk about them.

I think that that word "most" I used would agree that this happens, but this scenario shouldn't be used to shame others for asking what they'd prefer.

You might want to go back and re-read my first post. I wasn't shaming anyone, no need to make this something more than it was.
I'm going to be the one to say it...all this could have been prevented if we had lurked and used the search function. This question has been asked at least twice already and I think many women are tired of it which is probably why the snark is out.
Re: What do you want?
Why does it matter ? I sure hope my baby is just healthy and happy. I don't care if there is a P or a V.
