Transition to normal food

my 8 month LO was exclusively bf until 6 months, until she cried every time she saw food. We introduced purees as advised now 2 short months later she cries over table food and screams every time we eat whether she's just eaten or what. How can I transition her? Any blw mommy's have any advice?

Thanks in advance!

We started our daughter on purees at about 5 months and after reading about baby led waeaning began to incorporate that as well around almost 6 months. At almost 8 mo we do mostly finger foods and some pouch purees which she can feed herself (Amazon sells ChooMee soft pouch "caps" that keep baby from squishing it all out or spattering when it's dropped..AMAZING!) . We started with banana, steamed broccoli and carrot sticks, baked sweet potato and zucchini sticks, avocado and soft toast. If you search baby led weaning recipes you'll find a ton! We didn't really have much of a transition from purees to baby led weaning.. We offered her finger foods along with her purees and eventually she started to prefer the finger foods over purée. Only thing we do differently is make everything into cheerio sized pieces instead of sticks like baby led weaning recommends. It's just easier for us. Hope this helps, Good luck
