Aria Josephine Edd sept 4 Born August 24 6lbs 10oz 17.5 inches long
My water broke at 1 am in my sleep. Got to hospital around 2 I was only 2 cm dialated and 50% effaced. After getting all hooked up to the moniters and getting some tests done we found out there was mercoium in the amniotic fluid. So we had chop docs waiting for when I delivered. Hubby and I dozed off around 4am for a few hours. Around 830 am they started me on pitocin which caused my contractions to be really intense but I still was only 3/4 cm. I opted for the epidural at 920am relaxed a littled by 11am I felt the urge to push I called the nurse who said my Ob was in OR and would have her come in when she was done we were told 15 mins that came and went no doc so I called nurse again she checked. I was 10cm and ready so I pushed with the nurse until dd head was about to come out then she yelled for a doc who was part of another practice and the children's hospital neonatal doc. 1 contraction and 4 pushes she was out. She cried for a second then stopped she inhaled a mouthful of fluid/meconium and they suctioned her and ended up giving her oxygen but she turned blue so they rushed her to nicu did all kinds of test. After about 45 mins she was off all oxygen and breathing on her own. She has to stay in nicu for 24 hours then sHe is doing great and loves snuggle time on mommys chest
Eliot Diane Edd Aug. 30 Born Aug. 24 8lbs 1oz 20 1/2 in long
Woke up having contractions around 4:30 am. Around 8:30 am they were 3-5 min apart. Came to hospital then. I was 3-4 cm and 80%. They checked me after an he and no change. We decided to go ahead and let them induce since we were here. I got an enema around 11:15 am. The midwife then broke my water at 12:25 pm when I was 5 cm and 90%. Around 1:35 pm I decided I wanted in the tub for pain management. The midwife turned the water on and I started yelling for the midwife to get back. After 2 pushes our princess arrived at 1:48 pm.
EDD: Sept 24 Birthday: August 23 Twins delivered at 35w 3d
Kenna and Savannah made their appearance at 35weeks 3 days. Both are in the nicu but doing very well. We hope to take them both home very soon. Their birth story is long and definitely one we will be talking about for many years!
Charles Xavier Bennett was born at 12:28pm and weighs 8lbs1oz 18.5 inches long. Our birth plan didn't go quite as planned. I had my heart set on all natural waterbirth at a birthing center with my midwives. I went into labor at 2:30am and by 9:30am we were on our way to the center. Apparently my water broke sometime during then and I wasn't even aware..my guess is one of the times I was in the bath.
We got to the center and they immediately checked to see how dialted I was and my midwife said "We have a problem..he is breech." My heart sank. He has been head down since 28 weeks and at our last appointment last Wednesday he was still good! My guess is that Saturday night for about 3 hours i was having what I thought was false labor contractions..but now I'm convinced it was him moving. They unsuccessfully tried to rotate him and then transferred me to the hospital for an emergency c-section.
I was crushed and terrified because this was the last thing I was expecting. But I kept telling myself it was okay because regardless today was my babies birthday. My husband was in tears because he was so worried. By the time I got to the hospital my contractions were 3 minutes a part and they had us rushed into surgery within half an hour because they were concerned of him getting stuck in the birth canal. After a terrifying morning and being so devastated that I didn't get to have my natural childbirth nothing mattered anymore the second I heard his first cry. We were able to watch through a clear drape and I still got to do skin to skin directly after while on the table and even both my midwives were able to be there which was comforting. We are both recovering well and he has taken to breastfeeding perfectly. I never could have imagined the love I feel for him. He is perfect and I am never putting him down!
EDD: 9/10 Born: 8/26 @6:36 Judah Alexander 6 lbs 11 oz and 20.5" long
OB appt yesterday, was told I was not dilated or effaced at all. She assumed he'd make it to his due or even after. Fast forward to this morning at 6am, heard/felt a pop and gush, ran to the bathroom and sure enuf, my water broke. We headed to the hospital where I was told I was still not dilated or effaced at all. Was admitted and given a prostin suppository to try and soften my cervix. No dice. Started pitocin at about 9am. I got to about 3 cms and stopped. Tried walking around, sat on a ball for 2 hours, checked again at 1 and still at 3 cms. My contractions were 3 mins apart and 1minute long. They offered the epidural and I took it!! Life was glorious thereafter until I started to feel a lot of pressure on my actual vagina. I had gone from 3 to 10 in about 2 hours. Holy hell that was rough. I was still -2 and needed to be at +2 so we had to push for about 40 mins to get him down but after that my beautiful man was here!! Looks like I'm not seeing the Foo Fighters tomorrow as planned but well worth it. Soooo in love. Good luck ladies!! And remember, the epidural is your friend!!
Water broke at 4:15am. Was admitted to hospital 9am. Pictocine administered 12:38pm. Baby was born with no epidural 6:48pm. Me and baby are doing great and me and DH are so in love!
My BH contractions had been consistently 30 minutes to 45 minutes apart all week, sometimes getting as close as 10-15 for a few hours in the evening. At 1:30AM I woke up to contractions with painful cramping about 5-7 minutes apart. I didn't wait for the hour to be up before alerting my DH and calling the hospital, as they were getting more painful and closer together. We made it to the hospital by 2:45. I was admitted around 3:30 after they saw how close my contractions were and determined I was dilated 7 cm. They quickly got me to a room and called the anesthesiologist, but by the time they got me sitting up to do the damn thing my water broke and it was go time. 3 pushes later, she was out, at 4:28 AM.
I am so grateful for such a quick (although painful) delivery. Recovery has been much easier. Woo hoo!
I went to my 39 week appointment as scheduled and had my first cervical exam, 0.5 cm dialated 50%effaced. By 8pm I thought I was having terrible gas pains despite lots of stinky flatulence. Then I realized gas pains don't come every 5 minutes lol (as i refused to believe i was in labor). By 130a I was on my way to the hospital with contractions every 2-3 minutes. I went as long as I could without any medication and ended up opting for the epidural at 430a. At 730a I started pushing and by 740am my handsome little prince was here. 7lbs 7oz 20inches long (no stitches or tearing and best of all no swelling!)
I was induced at 6:00 yesterday morning at 38 weeks due to high blood pressure. Baby Kaia was born at 4:57 that evening. I got my epidural at 3 cm, I didn't really need it when I got it, they was about to brake my water and once I asked for the epidural they said it could take 45 minutes for the anesthesiologist to get there so I went ahead and put the request in. It took maybe 30 minutes to get it and right after they broke my water. The contractions stopped hurting and I took maybe a 30 minute nap until I was woken up by some pretty bad pressure down there, after about 30 minutes the pain got soo bad. I was 6 cm and the pump on my epidural was broken so I only got the initial dose they gave me with it was being put in. (I was 6 cm when they relized the pump was broken) they said the old epidural couldn't keep up so I had to wait for a whole new epidural. I went from 6 cm to 10 cm in a matter of 45 minutes. IT WAS THE WORST PAIN OF MY LIFE! I pushed for 15 minutes and baby was here! I only needed one stich. She was 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 and a half cm long!
Wednesday I was induced and yesterday at 1130 Dillon was born at 36 weeks 4 days. 6 pounds 4 ounces 20 inches. For a first time mom I've learned they don't call it labor for nothing one of the hardest things I've ever done
Scarlett Marie EDD: 9-15-15 Birthday: 8-27-15 My water broke at 330 am I arrived at the hospital 4am 3 cm dilated in minimal pain. Within an hour I was in severe pain and they checked me and were surprised I was already 9 cm. I got the epidural and after about 2 hours of pushing my beautiful baby girl was here. I was 37 and 2 days and she weighed 6 lbs 5 ounces and is 19 inches long. We are so in love!!!!
Name: Luca EDD: September 3 Birthday: August 28 Weight: 7 pounds 5 ounces Length: 19 1/4 inches
Wednesday night I started having mild contractions which ended up being false labor. It subsided around 4am.
Thursday morning I had my 39 week checkup. To my surprise I was already dilated 3 cm and 80% effaced. Doctor said that he could be coming soon.
Around 5pm that night I starting having mildly painful contractions. Got to the hospital around 8pm. The contractions picked up and became painful so I got the epidural at 12:30am. Labor picked up quick after that. After just 10 minutes of pushing baby Luca was born at 2:08am! I can't wait for his big brother to meet him.
Name: Katherine Ava EDD: sept 1 Birthday: August 28 Weight: 7 pounds 11 ounces
Had no idea what contractions felt like but was told for look for pain in a pattern. After my Drs appointment Thursday I was told I was 5cm dilated and they stripped my membranes. I start contractions at 6pm and headed in at midnight- I was 8 cm dilated and ready for my glorious epidural. I was on a high for so long until they said she was transverse. Pushed for 4 grueling hours, but she made it!!! She is way bigger than my husband and myself when we were born and we are not big people. I chalk it up to many cupcakes I ate sorry Kate! But damn is she just the coolest babeh ever!
Don't be afraid of the epidural process. Didn't feel a thing
Dalton Rhys EDD: 9/2 Born: 8/28 8 lbs 10oz, 19.5 inches long
At my OB appointment yesterday I was 5 cm dilated with a very soft cervix and baby was low. Because I was GBS+ and with my history of not feeling contractions until my water being broken and quick labors they told me to go to L&D this morning and have my water broken so I could get antibiotics prior to his birth. I got to L&D at 10:30 and they started the IV. They broke my water at 2 and OMG the contractions started up fast and furious. His is pregnancy #3, child #4, and this was by far the longest most painful labor ever. The nurses were impressed that I didn't say a peep, but I had listened to the woman across the hall scream for 2 hours straight and I did not want to be that person!! By 3:59 I was at 10, and at 4:05 he was born. Big, chubby baby, no drugs. I tore a little bit at my old episiotomy site so I needed a few stitches. Ouch! Anyway, we are both healthy, though he wants to eat constantly and screams if I put him down. I'm sooooo tired.
I went for my 34 week appointment last Thursday 8/20 and my BP was elevated so we drew some labs and I did a 24 hour urine over the weekend and brought it in Monday and the did another BP check (still high plus I now had a headache) and a NST (perfect) so I got sent to l&d triage for BP monitoring and lab work. After monitoring I got sent home on strict bedrest and to wait on the urine results. Tuesday morning I got the call about my urine saying it was borderline and since my headache was getting worse I was being admitted to the antepartum floor. Stayed on antepartum till Thursday 8/27 when my headache became severe and unresponsive to PO meds and we started my Foley bulb induction at 35+5. So Friday morning 8/28 we started pit at 0500 and my OB broke my water at 0845 I was 4 cm. About an hour later just as my epidural was placed Henrys HR dropped but we were able to get it back up and pitocin was turned off never to be restarted. Then on and off throughout the day it would drop we would do an intervention and it would return to baseline but he was beginning to show signs that he was not tolerating the HR drops anymore. As an L&D nurse I looked at his monitor strip and it looked awful. At 1430 I was 7cm and 100% effaced and he had a drop we were able to bring back up but my OB at that point said 1 more and we are doing a c/section. 15 minutes later he did it again and we went to the OR. He had the cord around his neck and the cord was pretty puny which those 2 things together are probably what was causing the issue. Henry is here safe and sound now breastfeeding like a champ and doing wonderfully despite his dramatic entrance and mommy and daddy are absolutely in love!!!
Sadie Faith EDD: September 23rd, 2015 Born: August 28th, 2015 ---6Ibs, 10oz 19.5inches
I went into the doctors office for a regular weekly check up at 36wks+2dys, and I was checked, still measuring 2cm, 70% effaced, still at -3 station. We had a surprise ultrasound also and it showed that baby was super low, healthy as ever, she measured 6Ibs 9oz, but my belly had been measuring 38weeks! The u/s tech noticed that I had been having contractions really closely so they hooked me to a monitor and it showed 4mins apart but not strong ones. They admitted me anyways because I lived an hour away from the hospital and had been on bedrest due to prelabor at just 31weeks and I stayed in the hospital till they sent me home 3 weeks later. She managed to hold off for 2 more weeks, so we've come a long way for pain and patience! The doctor broke my water at 11:35pm the 27th, and immediately I was having hard contractions 1min apart. I went up to 4cm by that point and HAD to have my epidural at 2am, and it worked until 8am the 28th of course. Then when the Pitocin wasn't helping me also dialate quicker, I took a nap and went from 4 to 9cm!!! They used wedges in the bed to help lower her. We also used bed rales and foot rests. When all the meds had worn off and nothing else was helping the pain, I finally started pushing. After 4 good tries, I had to stop because my doctor was caught in traffic and I could see her head with our birth-mirror! After he made it, I pushed about 10mins more and out she came! I tore a little so he stitched me immediately but can't believe I could feel it ALL with no meds anymore!!! It was worth it all getting to hold my baby girl! What a great size she was for being born 4 weeks early! Im blessed.
Jonathan EDD: 9/23 Born: 8/26 5lbs, 10 oz 19.5 inches
On Monday I woke up and went pee. As I was walking out of the bathroom I felt a small amount (about a cup) of water fill my undies. I went back to the bathroom and saw a clear, slightly sticky, "discharge". As I was changing my panties and shorts, and putting on clean panties and shorts, another small (about 1/2 cup) of clear, slightly sticky liquid soaked my panties. I became concerned when I noticed my baby wasn't as active and barely kicking (about an hour later). I called my Dr's office and was advised to go to L&D as it might be amnio fluid (water breaking).
Once at L&D the nurses performed a swipe that came back negative. The nurses advised it was probably just discharge and to come back if I had blood, or painful contractions. So I went home. I didn't have any more leakage until the next morning.
Tuesday morning the exact same thing happened. I changed clothes and went about my day, which included a routine Dr visit. At the Dr visit I let him know about the liquid "discharge" and test coming back negative. He looked up the test and saw it was not the BEST amnio fluid test- as the best/preferred test is called Amniosure. He told me to get to the hospital stat for the better test. My husband and I got in the car and drove straight to hospital. The Amniosure tested positive: I had been leaking amnio fluid for two days. Later I found out only one small/pinpoint membrane had ruptured which is why it was such a small amount of fluid.
The neonatologist advised me that we had to induce labor immediately as of the high risk of infection. I was wheeled to my labor/deliver/recovery room and started on pills to ripen cervix. In 4 hours I went from 1 cm to 2.5 cm. then received another dose and went from 2.5 to 4.5. During this time I had strong, painful contractions and asked for a dose of pain meds- stadol. It helped but not much, and I still felt strong contractions. I asked for an epidural- but while I was receiving the needle/they set up epidural, my Dr reviewed baby's heart rate from last 8 hrs and was concerned. The labor had worn baby out. They went in and broke my water (the remaining membranes)- which hurt very badly, and baby was even more stressed. The Dr was highly concerned and decided that in order to save my baby we needed a c-section. We were immediately wheeled in for surgery.
I was surprised they don't give you a sedative or knock you out... You're awake for the whole thing. I was so scared my body was physically shaking the entire surgery. Luckily, since the epidural line was already in place, they were able to quickly numb me for surgery. I also reminded the Dr I had multiple dermoid cysts we were going to have removed six months after delivering- so the Dr went ahead tfand removed them all after saving baby. Jonathan was born at 1849 hours. His daddy went with him while I was put back together.
I love him so much. He's in the special care unit as he was four weeks early and he's still figuring out how to eat. They did place a small feeding tube down his nose. We bottle feed him and if there's any left in the bottle they feed it to him via the tube. They can't give us an estimate on when he's ready to come home and it's heartbreaking. Please keep us in your prayers that he can come home with us asap.
Wyatt Normand Due 9/2 Born 8/27 Was sitting at work trying to time contractions, but getting frustrated I couldn't tell the dif between one ending and one starting. Wasn't feeling any pain and assumed they were BH. As I ate lunch, a coworker walked by in the middle of a contraction and the look on his face made me decide to call the Dr. They sounded skeptical but sent me to the hospital. Arrived at about 1, was triaged, told I was 4cm 80%effaced and having contractions every 2-4 min and would be admitted. Contractions continued but still no pain. Dr gave a small dose of pitocin at 4:30 to get it started and broke my water. Started having painful contractions and around 5ish got the epidural. Dr returned around 6:00 to check me and I was 8 cm and baby was at -1. She had the nurse set up for delivery and at 6:30 we started pushing. I was pushing so hard I was throwing up, so hubby got to hold a bag to my mouth, and baby popped out at 7:09! Fast and easy.
Brielle Hope EDD-9/2 Born - 8/28 6lbs 11oz 19 inch
Went in for my weekly apt on Tues and had elevated BP. Was supposed to go back in on the morning of 28th to get BP checked again but after having an awful headache all morning on Thurs, I decided to call to get it checked. When I went in it was 170/100, and they sent me immediately to l&d to be monitored. There it was determined they would go ahead and induce, but didn't have any open beds. I was sent home at 4:30 & told to be back at 10. Got back at 10, and when hooked up to monitor was contracting on my own every 3-7 min and had gone from 2-4 cm since leaving the earlier. They hooked me up to IV at 11, pitocin at 12. I was already getting stronger contractions by then so immediately got epidural at 12:30. Water broke on its own at 12:45 & I was at 7. Slept for a bit & woke up to pressure around 4:15 & was 8.5 & she was still high. 15 min later I was complete & she was +2! Pushed for maybe 10 min. She was born at 4:48am! So in love with my baby girl, she is perfect!
Quinten Robert Kenneth EDD- September 2nd Born- August 28th Stats- 10!! pounds 22 3/4 in.
Went in for my 39 week appointment and had high bp readings, one midwife wanted to send me home and monitor it the other wanted me to go for a NST, the latter won. Up in triage my readings were worse, of course, stressing out wasn't helping, but the on call midwife was all for admitting me and inducing labor, so that's what we did. Foley bulb induction got me to 4cm in an hour and we hoped that would be enough to jump start things. Waited until 5 am Friday morning but ended up on a pitocin drip all day, contractions were manageable but started getting intense around a 5/6. Got to a 6cm and decided it was go time and had the midwife break my water which lead to active labor for three and a half hours. It was pretty horrible pain, I was in the shower for an hour of it and pushing for most of it as well. At 5:28pm baby finally arrived but had a shoulder stuck, delivered him successfully with only midwife assistance. Come to find out he was 10 pounds and delivered med-free!
Jack Robert EDD-9/27 Born - 8/28 6lbs 2oz 19 inches
Jack was born via emergency c-section after experiencing some heart rate issues while I was in labor. Believing that the deceleration were caused by my recently placed epidural, I was sent for a "stat" c-section under general anesthesia. My husband could not be with me and I was completely asleep for our son's birth. It turns out he has the cord wrapped around his neck twice and body once, thus causing his decels.
Jack is doing well for what is considered a pre-full term baby. He's tiny and had some feeding issues but is getting better every day!
Was on bedrest for gestational hypertension and at one of my biweekly doctor's appointments they drew labs that came back abnormal. They immediately had me go to hospital. They started to try and get cervix ready with the pill as I was not dilated or effaced at all. After severa hours of contractions, breaking my water, giving me magnesium, starting pitocin (36 hours of labor to be exact) they decided to do s c section. C section was terrifying as I was losing too much blood after baby was born and baby started to turn blue. Everything was handled well by the docs and nurses and both of us came out okay! I love our boy sooooo much! He is a doll!
Gabriel Born 8/29 Edd 9/24 5lbs 12 ounces 19 inches long
Emergency c- section due to high blood pressure and lower fetal movement and dips in his heart rate yesterday. He is being monitored lungs are great just trying to maintain his blood sugar so he has been in the nursery all night. Finally got to see and hold my sweet boy 6 hours after my surgery. Trust your gut ladies I thought I might being dramatic but turns out he was in distress.
Avery June born 8/29 at 11:31 pm. 7lbs3oz. 39 weeks to the day. 40 hours of natural labor that ended in emergency c section because baby was stuck face up in the birth Canal. Both of us are happy and healthy
Ryan was born during a repeat csection on 08/28. Csection was scheduled so early due to complete placenta previa and placenta increta. Csection went well and he came out yelling. He is in the nicu to help regulate his breathing which is still a bit fast. Then he can try bottle feeding, for now he is on a feeding tube. Considering he was so early he is doing rather well.
EDD: 9/3/15 Born: 8/29/15 6:09am Weight: 6lbs 15 oz Length: 20.5 in
My water broke at exactly 12:00am Friday morning so we went to L&D. I was having small contractions but they weren't picking up, so 7:00am Friday morning they inserted the balloon which got me to 4cm by about noon. Still in the slow lane, I started pitocin late Friday in hopes of things progressing, but got stuck at 5cm. At midnight Saturday morning I didn't have much left to give and was at only at 7 cm so I opted for the epidural. Labored for another 6 hours before I pushed through three contractions. Each push the baby's heart rate dropped significantly. So at 5:55 they decided to get baby out via emergency c section. 14 minutes later he was here! Baby Owen had his cord wrapped around his neck twice. Once out he took a very deep few breaths and actually popped a hole in his right lung, so without my skin-to-skin or first feeding my poor little man was rushed to the NICU We were finally able to get some skin-to-skin last night and I have been hand expressing colostrum for him to get as soon as he is off the IV. Could use some prayers for him and a fast c-section recovery for me!
Name: Leyton Trice EDD: 9/25/15 BD: 8/28/15 After a month of bedrest, multiple hospital admissions, and steroid shots, I was admitted to the hospital 8/27 (for good this time) due to severe blood pressures and pre-eclampsia and the decision was made to deliver baby that night at exactly 36 weeks. It was a terrible, hard induction process (magnesium sulfate is the DEVIL) but tonight we got to meet our sweet boy. Leyton Trice was born at 9:31pm weighing 6lbs 2 oz and 18 3/4in long. We are so so smitten! He is an entire month early so we are facing a few, small challenges like trying to wake him to feed, but he spent NO time in the NICU! Please take care of yourselves, Mamas, and happy deliveries!!
STM and labor went smoother than the first time. This is amazing to me since DD1 was 7 lbs. 13 oz. and DD2 was 9lbs. 14 oz. About 50 minutes pushing verses 4 hours with DD1.
Baby #3 - After a week of on and off contractions my water broke around 3:45am. Took a shower & waited for my folks to show up to watch the kids - didn't really feel any contractions. Got to the hospital and was 4cm. Got epidural & by 11am I was complete & ready to push. 2 pushes later he was here! Best labor yet!!
Went in for a check up when they noticed my blood pressure was elevated. Was admitted and labor was induced the next day with pills.
After 3 doses I was feeling the contractions getting more frequent but was not showing on the monitor.
When the nurses finally were convinced I was in labor it was too late too call my husband. I started pushing as soon as the doctor arrived and baby was born after two contractions and 4 pushes. The worse part was having to deliver baby alone and cutting the umbilical cord myself. Also the multiple tears and being stitched up with little numbing.
Julianna Christina EDD 9/6 Birthdate 8/30 7 lbs 5 oz
The full moon must have worked for us. Started having contractions at 2:30 AM and she came into the world at 12:14 PM. I swear she did most of the work. I had an epidural at 8 cm and an hour later they went to cath me and saw her head. 3 contractions later and I was holding my sweet girl #3.
Are epidurals standard procedure in America? Does anyone have a natural or water birth?
Honestly, I don't think it should matter to you what anyone else's birthplan is, or whether or not they get an epidural. Also, am tagging an admin to delete this comment, as it is not a birth announcement.
This is not a thread to be judgemental. This is a thread where women can rejoice in one of the greatest gifts ever given to them.
Xander (Alexander James) EDD 9/5 Birthdate 8/31 6 lb 7 oz 17 1/2 in
Came in for induction due to GD. Labor lasted 2 hr 20 min, 3 pushes and poof - here he was! He's got hair and an adorable grumpy lil face just like his daddy!
I was scared to be induced but had a great experience. I was determined to go pain med free but broke down and asked for some - but Xander had other ideas and I had to push instead! So I did get my med free birth like I wanted.
Name: Jayce Edward EDD:9/4 Born:8/31 Weight: 7#4oz Length: 20in Went in for induction this morning. Broke my waters and started pitocin at 10:15 am and baby Jayce was here at 12:59...med free! Life is great!
Turned in a 24 hour urine test on Wednesday and got a call from doctor on Thursday that my levels were high. No blood pressure problems or anything else but I had preeclampsia with last pregnancy at 32 weeks so we knew how quickly it could escalate. Despite wanting a vbac, doctor and I decided a c-section was best, and Valentina Olivia was born the next day. C-section went smoothly and we are both home now. We are soo in love with our princess!
I went for pre-surgical testing this morning (8/31) at 11am for my scheduled c section tomorrow (9/1), but during the testing they were super concerned about my blood pressure and they contacted my Drs about it. So instead of being allowed to leave and continue on to my regular Monday doctors appointment I was sent up to L & D by 11:45am to be monitored. Needless to say it was just as high and would not go down at all, so the dr decided that it wasn't a difference on having me wait one more day but that it needed to be done ASAP! So after convincing them to wait for my DH to get there at 4:30pm, they took me into the OR for a c section at about 5pm that's when our life's changed forever!! I'm so grateful for our little man!!! Even though we were scheduled for tomorrow it didn't make the process any easier! I was alone until about 2:45pm when my mom and sister arrived, I thought I wouldn't want anyone in the hospital room with me however they were the most comforting hours during this process! Once my DH arrived he was told to get in his change of clothes and they took us to the OR at 4:50pm for the spinal. Then the rest was a breeze I didn't feel a thing during the procedure!! Now I'm just laying here cuddling with my cute little man!! We are all doing very well!!

My water broke at 1 am in my sleep. Got to hospital around 2 I was only 2 cm dialated and 50% effaced.

Im blessed.

Good luck everyone!

Was sitting at work trying to time contractions, but getting frustrated I couldn't tell the dif between one ending and one starting.

Thankfully Baby is Healthy and doing great!
