Baby Aspirin?

Hello all! I'm currently pregnant with #2. I have a question out there. I had high BP during 1st pregnancy but never developed Pre-E. I had my first appt. with dr. yesterday (I'm 9 weeks) and he mentioned that with my BP and Diabetes (I'm type 2) that he may put me on a baby aspirin once a day after 12 weeks. I've never heard of this, but can anyone out there tell me if they have? Thanks in advance!

I've been on baby Aspirin Since 4 weeks for a clotting disorder. I've also heard it was good for high BP to help prevent Preeclampsia

This is third pregnancy, second set of twins. My OB and MFM OB said 81 mg of baby aspirin will help with preeclampsia.

I lost my first baby because of lack of blood flow to the placenta, so my doctor put me on Baby Aspirin just to be on the safe side this time around.
