Morning sickness getting worse

Anyone else's morning sickness getting worse? This week (week 10) the morning sickness has increased to every day compared to 3-4 times per week since week 6. The tiredness is worse as well, have to have a nap every day as soon as I get home from work. Hopefully will start feeling better soon. I'm taking it as a good sign anyway

Re: Morning sickness getting worse

  • I'm on week 7 and mine is getting progressively worse, as well as the tiredness. Good Luck.

  • My dr mentioned Monday that morning sickness typically peaks from weeks 10-12 then is gone by 14. Not necessarily my experience but I think it must be pretty common. Sorry you are feeling crappy and fingers crossed you're almost done!

  • I just turned 9 weeks and have had some bad days here and there but overall don't think it has gotten worse since week 6. I'm flying and being a bridesmaid tomorrow and Saturday, so I'm terrified it might get worse, but so far it is under control. When I heard 9-10 weeks can be worst and I looked at the calendar for this wedding I wanted to cry!!
  • I'm only at 8.5 weeks and I'm pretty much nauseous all day, every day. And I have been for about two weeks. The only way this gets worse is if/when I start actually vomiting. Ugh.

My kids have been cute trying to cuddle me though when I need to lay down. If only they didn't also elbow me in the stomach at the same time!

  • Try diclegis!!!
  • It sounds like your morning sickness is peaking right now. Mine peaked at the beginning of week 11, however, that is also when my fatigue started going away (finally.) Hang in there. Symptoms are a good sign baby is healthy!
  • I'm 11 weeks along and mine just peaked. It's all day pretty much. I've heard it tends to start to go away around weeks 14-16
  • I'm 9 weeks and 2 days and my morning sickness has gotten way worse. Before it wasn't much but now it's plaguing me all day everyday. I can only hope that in 2nd trimester I start feeling better!
  • I'm 9 weeks and 2 days and yes, it has been getting bad!!!! I threw up twice this week. I just keep reminding myself that at least it's a signal that the baby is growing and healthy. Needless to say, it's making it hard to eat or function.
  • I take Diclegis. I was vomiting 10+ times a day. I still get sick late at night, but it has helped emensly. I stated getting sick right at 6 weeks
  • Yeah, same for me... Week 9 I was like, "Hey, I'm feeling pretty good; maybe the second trimester good feels are starting early for me!"

Week 10, I am passing out after every meal and feeling sick multiple times a day. It's all part of the magical tapestry that is pregnancy hormones and how they affect us. I guess. I kind of just wish it would end.

  • Almost 12 weeks here and am starting to feel some relief. Hang in there ladies! Ask your doctor for Diclegis or try Unisom Tabs at night to help knock down the worst of the nausea. It's a Class A drug, so studies have proven it safe to take during pregnancy.

  • Around week 6, I began with nausea.  Week 7, I was throwing up all day everyday to the point where I couldn't function and became dehydrated.  My doctor prescribed Dicelgis and it's been a miracle!! I am able to go to work and do daily activity.  I'm now 10 weeks, 5 days and beginning to throw up at night but I can manage.  Hopefully, it will get better soon. Good Luck!
  • My morning sickness has gotten worse as well. I'm sick all day, everyday and everything makes me feel sick.
  • I got hit with mine right at 6 weeks. I was throwing up 10 time a day, no exaggeration. If you are having a hard time talk to your doctor about Diclgeis. I am taking it and it helps a lot. I won't lie, I still get sick a few times a week even with the medicine. I am 10w6d and I also just switched from a pill prenatal to a gummy and that has helped a lot as well.
  • Yea mine has been pretty awful. I'm 12 weeks now but not holding my breath that the end is near bc I had awful morning sickness with my first baby up to week 17. Not common but unfortunately not out of the question for me.
  • Mine started at 6.5 weeks, and picked up at 9 weeks. I am 11 weeks today and still have it in the mornings. Hoping it lets up soon but yes it's normal for it to get worse before it gets better! 10 weeks started the fatigue for me. I could sleep anywhere!
  • I find out how far along I am today however I have been sick all day everyday for the last 3 weeks. It's awful
  • I'm 10 wks, 6 days. I had a horrible time Sunday night with mine. Usually I'm nauseated in the mornings with a spike around 3-4:00. Hopefully these are good signs that everything's going smoothly inside!
  • I'm 11 weeks, but my nausea seemed to get really bad the past week and a half. I was similar...only actually throwing up a couple times a week, now like 4 times a day (at work!), LOL. I'm glad the baby is healthy!
  • Everyone said it gets worse at 9 weeks and they weren't lying. I made myself a huge pot of chicken stock/bone broth that I'm gonna live off of for the week. It's been really helping, super tasty and makes me feel like a hipster mom.
  • 12 weeks and it seems like ms has ramped up. Migraines, nausea and vomiting. This happened in my last pregnancy as well. Just when you think you are about over the hump!
