Baby products you love

I was wondering if you all have any products or things you're using now that LO is here that you love.
I happened across these reusable breast pads that you can also heat up to help with pumping. They have been awesome! I also have loved my woombie swaddlers. Any other can't live without baby/mama products right now?

  • We have a vibrating infant chair LO loves

  • A yoga ball ! I had it for comfort while I was pregnant since I had a lot of pressure on my lower back and sitting on a ball was amazing, I now use it to put my LO to sleep , since sitting and rocking myself is tiring and uncomfortable and don't have the budget to buy a super expensive rocking chair , the yoga ball is really nice . It's comfortable to be on for a while you aren't limited to just rocking and it's also good pelvic exercise! Which is recommended to do in the 6 weeks PP and also after .

The Windi. Its a tube you stick in your baby's butt to make them fart. It sounds inhumane, but let me tell ya, it has calmed my baby instantly. Motherhood is a glamorous job.

I'm also a big fan of the Boppy.

Aden + Anais blankets are great. We use them for EVERYTHING.

and lastly, Gerber cloth diapers. I have a spitter upper and they absorb better than anything else we've tried.
  • Fisher price infant chair for the win. Hands down best ever!
  • @carleyec93 the windi huh? Learn something new everyday! I had no idea this existed but it makes sense why it would work! All the crazy and gross things we will do to make LO feel better :D;)

  • Muslin cloths are the best ever. I use them for everything- swaddling and for blankets when out. I love how soft and breathable muslin fabric is. Also, the baby k'tan. I do things around the house and DS is super happy. I am a fan of baby wearing.

    I second these choices.

  • I'm with @kelseyrayay the swaddlers/swaddlemes are the best and make LO so happy.
  • Cheapie Gerber onesies (got them as presents but they're soooo easy to put on and take off ), sleepers with mittens, halo sleep sacks, aden&anais swaddles, the boppy lounger (baby loves it ), my regular boppy and all its adorable plush covers, lasinoh Thera pearls heating pads for boobs, and lasinoh lanolin ointment (which also makes for a amazing lip ointment as well), absolutely the nose Frida along with saline drops.
And my new favorite as of last night that solved all my problems.. the Dr browns bottle with preemie nipples to stop my LO from guzzling breast milk!!!
And the windi is something I am looking into getting.
When I was working in the ICU, we used to stick straight caths into patients rectums to relieve their gas if they were unable to do it themselves. Same principle.
  • @carleyec93 ok I'm getting the windi too.. I'm convinced lol. My poor little guy has been beyond miserable with gas... praying it helps
  • Halo sleep sacks LO won't sleep without them
Swaddle sacks - this kid loves to be swaddled and DH and I are completely incapable of swaddling without the cheater sacks!
Mamaroo chair - naps wouldn't happen without it. Doesn't even have to be turned on he just loves the feeling of being cuddled.
  • @gmd88 @hazeldagarr You won't be disappointed! That thing saved us many nights. We have a gas monster who would scream her head off until we got it. Make sure you have baby oil (or @Miz_Liz uses vaseline) to make inserting it easier.
  • Backpack diaper bag! So convenient when I'm on my own with the LO. We got a Jeep brand.
  • I second lansinoh Thera pearls those things are awesome hot or cold!

Also the Medela hydrogels are the most amazing things I prob would not be Breast feeding anymore if it wasn't for them.

I have a swaddle pods I wish they were a lot tighter but this kid loves to be swaddled and breaks out of everything.

    My snug a bunny bouncer

I have the mamaroo but haven't put it together yet.

  • Oh my mamaroo swing is the only reason LO is sleeping at night. This weekend we are going to try again with the arms reach cosleeper. Her gas seems better so maybe lying flat won't be so bad for her.

The rock n play! My first slept in the bassinet. This one refused to sleep in the bassinet and would only sleep in my arms. I finally tried the rock n play after many of my friends swore by it and it has been a lifesaver. He sleeps amazing stretches in it. He is all nestled in this confined cozy space on his side and it is on an incline so he seems to be very content. It's not something I plan on having him sleep in for a long time but for now it is keeping our sanity!

OMG did I write this?! DS slept like a champ in his bassinet...this little girl however would only sleep in my arms! After a few nights of sitting up until 6 AM, my parents bought us a Rock'n'Play....amaze-ballz! I also second the Windi. As soon as @carleyec93 told me her experience, I ordered some...so glad we did!
  • Did the Windi just see a bump in sales because I totally just ordered one ;;) I figure it's better to have then to wait and see!

This! Same problem. He loves the R&P!
  • The Windi?! This is why I love this board, I have never heard of this but it might just save my sanity. My DS starts grunting, groaning and straining every.single.night due to gas. Sometimes she can get it out but most of the time not. So trying this. Thank you!!!

On topic though, rock n play is a lifesaver. Pretty much the only thing she'll sleep in. Said I wouldn't let her sleep in it at night before she was born. Threw that thought right out the window.
