myomectomy vs c-section

I had a myomectomy last December to have a softball sized fibroid removed and was just cleared to TTC. I know this is early to being thinking about this, but wanted to hear from others about their c-section experience vs their myomectomy. Was recovery better, worse, or relatively the same?

    I don't have an answer for you, but I'm in the same boat as you and have been searching for more myomectomy/C-section experiences!
    And no, it's not too early -- I had a successful surgery last August, and I conceived on our fourth month after being cleared TTC. I'm 20 weeks along now.
    I am a bit disappointed (and scared) that I have to have a C. I'm still in the process of accepting that and trying to learn as much as I can about the process.

    Scheduled for a c-section on 11/18 (baby will be 38 weeks). My surgery was done by the Davinci robot about 1 1/2 years ago. I'm not too worried about the c-section. I'll try to remember to post afterwards to let you know!
