Incompetent cervix..

so today I went to my two week pp check up after having my first baby at 21w6d my doctor said it was most likely due to incompetent cervix since my pregnancy was healthy. I wanted to see If anyone else has this or happy ending stories with this... Doctor said im fertile but if I'll be high risk next time around I wanna have a baby again so badly but kinda scared. Another question am I supposed to have another appointment with my OB for a 6week my doctor didn't mention it wondering if I should call and make one?

    I'm sorry for your loss.  I don't know if you'll find success stories here or not since we are all still trying.  But I know of people who had a cerclage placed in pregnancies after a loss that occurred due to incompetent cervix.  I would look for a high risk OB or MFM to see what they say.  It would be important to me to have a doctor that knows how to treat this before getting pregnant again.

    TTC #2 3rd cycle of Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 4 follies = BFP on 10/12/12 
    TTC#3 July 2014 - Metformin +TI = BFP at 9dpo - Twins, one baby lost at 5.5 weeks 
    Macy Annabelle born at 37w4d on 4/29/15.  Diagnosed with Cri du Chat and passed away on 6/6/15.  Forever in our hearts.
    TTC#4 3rd cycle of Metformin + Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 3 follies = BFP on 12/24/16

    Thank you for the reply I will start looking into a high risk OB. Do you mind me asking if you by chance know wether a OB or MFM would be best or does it just depend on the person?

    I would think a MFM would be best since they would probably have more experience.
