Today a Stranger........

Today a stranger announced suddenly and loudly inside a small boutique "Baby on board!!!!!!!" when I walked into the shop. Soooooooo I guess I look pregnant now. Blump turned into bump. 

Perhaps we can share our interesting unwarranted stranger danger encounters.

    Yup I'm a cashier at target a woman asked me how far along I was!!! And then congratulated me. I didn't realize I had a noticeable bump yet

    Today I was asked how far along I was, I said five months and she was responded...... Your only five months and your already that big?

    Man, people really need to learn to censor what they say to a pregnant lady. I would've flipped out on her. Like we aren't already self-conscious enough about our changing bodies, other people certainly don't need to point it out!

    Walked into Aeropostale when I was 17 weeks an the lady looked at me and said "congratulations", I was like "what?" And noticed she was looking at my bump..

    I'm a petite person and everyone keeps telling me I'm too big to be 17 weeks. Even asking if I'm sure I'm not carrying twins.... I want to start showing my bump off but I find myself wearing baggy clothes to try hide it because I'm fed up of people joking around thinking they are funny calling me fat.

    @nanamp Hahahah, love it! I haven't had any rude comments,  but some friends have excitedly asked if I've started to show (when wearing flowy clothes that hide my stomach) and I respond "Kind of, but it's mostly gas and poop"

    I was just at a birthday party for my daughters friend. Another mom at the party came up to me and said "I thought it was you, but I wasn't sure because you're huge!" I also got a "are you sure there's only one in there?" All from other mothers. Real nice ladies.

    I had two one yesterday other today.
    Yesterday - teenager in Walmart line "Awwe are you pregnant?"
    In my head 'no I just have an amazing beer belly'
    What I actually say "Yes I am."

    Today walking out of babysrus.
    "Are you expecting?"
    "Yes"
    "How many months of well I have waist trainers you'll want one after you have that baby"
    "5"

    My bump is very prominent like I can no longer even try to hide it. I just always think in my head when asked by strangers like what if I wasn't pregnant and I just look fat? Or maybe they ask because they don't know if I'm pregnant or JUST FAT!! :((

    Same here @babybluu... I'm in that weird stage where it looks like I'm either pregnant or had too much pizza! Hopefully things will change soon! Yesterday I talked to two strangers and both didn't say one thing. Mehhh...

    @l4rk hahahahaha that'sssssss funny, and rude, but funny because we know how hopeless some guys are with communicating and/or saying something that could be intended as being nice but comes out super awkward.

    @mg137 I'm a little amazed that she knows that it takes time to recover, a lot of kids probably think that once baby comes out bump goes away...lol

    The girl who did my hair today doesn't speak much English and she said "when is your baby coming" and I was really confused until I realized she could tell I was pregnant!!! Haha

    I have definitely gotten the "are you sure there aren't two in there?" So reading these posts makes me feel sooo much better! We go tomorrow for the anatomy scan (SO excited!!) -- but I will be checking to make sure there aren't two, everyone had me so convinced haha! 

    Strangers started commenting about 2 weeks ago, when I was 17 weeks preggo.... Not that I mind it I guess, people are much more willing to be helpful when they know!

    I am 5 ft tall and pregnant with twins boys. 18w along and I look like a whale when I turn around haha. Just this past week I have had so many people comment on how big is am getting. They only have one place to go.. and it's to stick out further lol. I was already showing at 10w.

    I get rude comments and looks because I look like I'm pregnant and still in high school...people and their age assumptions. Um.. I graduated high school over 8 years ago people! Looking younger should be a good thing... But when you are a 25 year old pregnant person and people are judging you because they assume by looking at you that you could qualify for the 16 and pregnant show... No bueno.

    @littleduck730 I am 21 and have always had a younger looking face. I sometimes still get carded at rated R movies. It's been weird looking pregnant and I think that's why nobody has come up to me and asked anything even though my bump is super noticeable at this point. If anybody has anything to say I would just tell them to look for you on the new episode of teen mom and see what they say then lol.
