Advice please

I noticed a vericose vein on the side of my knee about two weeks ago and went to get it checked out as I didnt have these in my first pregnancy. They told me that it was a vericose vein and nothing that they could really do for it. I now have vericose veins/ spider veins on both legs behind the knee. My question is that throughout the day they will start to ache. Is that normal? I really dont want to call the doctor and bother him unless Inhave too as I have an appointment on friday. Just wondering if any of you ladies have had any experience with vericose veins or spider veins? Thank you in advance!

Try not to sit with your legs crossed, elevate your legs when possible, and make sure you are exercising.  You have a lot of blood flowing through your body right now and things in your body are growing/shifting causing pressure on your veins.
