Why have I had +opk's 5 days in a row?

Today I got my 5th +opk in a row. Back in March I had a +opk for 3 days in a row, but usually I only have a + for one day. I read online that it could mean that my egg is having trouble releasing, but I don't think that's the deal here. Since yesterday I no longer have ewcm and my cervix is lower. If my egg were having trouble releasing wouldn't I continue to have ewcm and a high cervix?

    And no, I'm not temping this cycle since my lo is sleeping in bed with me and it has made it very difficult to do so.

    Are they true positives or just kind of dark lines? Brand?

    Last cycle I had CVS brand OPK strips...positive every day (dark, dark positives). Tried first response this cycle and had -/-/+/+/+/-/+ then ran out. The negatives were barely negative, as in almost the same color as the control line. The positives were super dark. My body must produce a lot of LH. I definitely O'd though because I have a clear temp shift on my chart. I will not be using OPKs anymore.

    This is interesting. Thanks for sharing. I hadn't heard of this happening to anyone before.

    The first 2 1/2 days of my +opk's, I had a high cervix and loads of ewcm. So I thought for sure the tests were accurate. I have used this brand before and really like them. They have correlated with my temps when I was temping too.
