If you use the search function you will find quite a few posts from moms here discussing their weight gain/loss up to this point. Hopefully you can find a bit more insight there.
This is a better question for your doctor. If your they are not worried about it then you should not be.
If you're worried make sure you're eating a nutritious well rounded diet and add healthy fats. I like coconut oil, grass fed butter, nut butters, and cheese personally. You can also make high protein high calorie smoothies and, while you don't want to totally go overboard on sugar, have a milkshake after dinner a few nights a week. Even if you're full you can usually get down a big milkshake because no ones ever too full for a milkshake. And it has calcium and protein so you feel good doing it.
Yesterday I got a text from a number I didn't know: "should I throw a burger on for you too?" Of course I answered yes. It wasn't a wrong number, which made for a very nice Sunday.
At 17 weeks the doctor told me I've only gained a pound (just about 20w and have my next appointment on Monday). I'm not stressing, I know months 7-9, I'll be putting on plenty of weight and I'm sure you will too.
I'm 21 and 4 and have actually lost a pound. Last appointment was last Friday and my OB was ok with that. (Though full disclosure, I was overweight prior to pregnancy).

I am 19 weeks and I have gained 13 and my doc is not concerned about that either. I was losing weight prior to pregnancy so I think some of that was my body going into shock from eating 1200-1400 calories a day for quite a while, to suddenly eating 1600-1800 (and some days more). You really just have to ask your doctor. Everyone is different. There are so many factors, we really can't guess. Eat more protein, bake a cake, make some bacon.
With both of my children I never gained until after 20 weeks- totally normal, everyone is different. I gained 30 lbs total the first time, 25 the second, and both times it was all between 20 and 40 weeks. don't stress until your OB is worried!
I've only gained back 5 of the 10 pounds I lost from MS. Had my A/S yesterday and Baby Girl's weight is right where it should be. You and baby are probably fine and if you're truly worried, call your doctor. It's what they're there for.
There's a woman in this community who gained 42lbs at 19 weeks.. Be glad your not her, that's horrible imo. I'm 17 weeks, already overweight, and haven't gained anything either. And I'm glad about it.

That is a joke thread....I started a thread almost 4 weeks ago that I was 17 weeks and I hadn't gained any weight and since then there have been 3-4 new threads saying the exact same thing as me....they are making fun. Annnnd it's hilarious.

Just a bit of useless historical information for all you ladies out there, did you know Starburst used to be called Opal Fruits??? That might come in handy some day!
That thread (sadly now closed) gave me the best laugh I've had in days, damn that felt good!
As somebody else who has gained essentially nothing (1lb in almost 18 weeks), my doctor basically said word for word "That's fine, I'm more worried about patients who are 20 weeks and have already gained 40 lbs than those who haven't gained at all"...which is why this morning's thread was particularly funny to me.
If the word starburst keeps getting said it's just a matter of time before this thread gets shut down since apparently starburst are not an approved topic of conversation.
Btw OP, if you are worried about not gaining weight you could always eat some starburst! They worked for another member if your doctor isn't worried you shouldn't be either, we're all different!
I'm a little late to the game but just wanted suggest the spelling "Ohpuhl" instead of "Opal" just I make sure your SB baby name is as you-neek as possible.
I think we should use "individually wrapped fruity chews containing at least 1% REAL fruit juice" rather than the products actual name, just to be on the safe side.....
What if we are referring to the unwrapped mini variety?

@Scullahoo I think pastille is probably pretty safe to use. It's not an American word and thus not too recognizable. (Also, is it sad that the only reason I know what they are is because I've read HP?? "> )
I've gained about 10 lbs in about 14 weeks. But I was also underweight before pregnancy (probably still considered underweight) but no one has said anything to me about needing to gain more. I'm probably one of the very few that's happy about gaining weight lol I have a really high metabolism.
Re: 20 weeks 1 day NO WEIGHT GAIN

It will come soon enough lol. Also , I'm sure your doctor will mention it to you.
