Is anyone else having bad cramping in their lower abdominal area? For me it comes and goes but it's fairly intense and sharp. Down in the lowest part of my belly near my pelvis. I'm 17 1/2 weeks

I had the exact same type of cramping and pain around 16-17 weeks (I'm 19w now). I ended up having a huge growth spurt (belly growth and stretch marks). I still get it intermittently but not as bad. When I spoke to my doctor he said its normal and part of pregnancy. It's totally freaked me out since I'm a FTM and had a previous miscarriage 7 months ago. I was worried something was wrong but everything is great.
