What's new with baby (size, development): It's a lime this week, which seems way bigger than the prune it was last week!!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Not much. I've been trying to take it easy and not freak out about my SCH. Getting lots of ultrasounds to check on it, though. That's fun!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm still unreasonably constipated, but I think the nausea is starting to taper off. *knock on wood* Now just waiting for my energy to come back. That kicks in at 12 weeks, right?
GTKY: What is a family tradition from your childhood that you are looking forward to sharing with your LO? [Question stolen from the Wednesday ticker change cuz I'm bad at thinking them up on my own.] We hide the kids' stockings on Christmas Eve and they have to find them in the morning. It's a tradition my grandparents started with my mom to buy themselves a little bit more sleep on Christmas morning. My parents did it with me, and now I do it with my kids. Love it.

I'm super moody and just wish I could control my emotions better. Not to mention I'm scared of another loss, I haven't seen my baby since our dating ultrasound which was at 8 weeks and my next appointment isn't till Thursday. I don't have a real reason to be scared but my previous loss has made it difficult not to worry.
GTKY: What is a family tradition from your childhood that you are looking forward to sharing with your LO.
I never grew up with my family. But I started to let my DD open one present on Christmas eve. I think I shall keep that going.
What's new with baby (size, development): The size of a prune, or lego person, which I like a little better. About 3 cm crown to rump.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: We moved this week, which was planned pre-pregnancy but the lifting of some things caused some spotting with made for a scary moving week.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Nausea has subsided!!! I was super freaked about it, but then had some bouts and ended up seeing the baby on Friday after some brown spotting. It was a really scary 36 hours from when I started spotting to when I saw the baby. Also, the same day I started spotting I got a call that I'm a cystic fibrosis carrier, so my H is getting tested and, I'm just really glad week 9 is done.
GTKY: What is a family tradition from your childhood that you are looking forward to sharing with your LO? Big family christmas eves! We used to spend most of the night with our cousins listening for reindeer and Santa while our parents all hung out. I have lots of fond memories of those Christmases
