Props to pops!!

Something we haven't done in awhile! Anyone have anything they want to brag about their SO's or any funny stories since they became dads?

First, I want to brag about the hubby!! He currently has a 4.0 in college and is only 3 classes away from his associates (school was never a big thing for him so this is a big deal!!), he also works 60+ hours a week and still finds time to be an amazing dad to our son and make sure he spends time with him every night that he is home!!

And a funny story, the first time my son spit up on dad, my husband yelped, held him away from himself and was begging for me to help him!! Poor guy dI'd not do well with bodily fluids in the beginning!!

  • My hubby works 60+ hours on a weekly basis to bring home the big bucks for DS and I. I don't blame him at all when he whines for help when DS is being too fussy for him to handle - because he tries. And the fact he is even socializing after having to get up for 3am every day amazes me.

Funny story for me involves throw up too. DH was playing with DS, holding him above his head and doing "airplane". I warned him not to do that as DS JUST ate a bit ago, but he was smiling so much at his dad he didn't want to stop. Well, DS threw up right into DH's mouth. Lol!!!! He was horrified and I couldn't even help because I was laughing so hard
  • I love this thread. I've seen a couple threads complaining - but I really have NO complaints. DH has fully taken the reigns with putting our 5 year old to bed, does all the laundry, and is totally wrapped around baby girl's finger already. He gets up once nearly every night and certainly does his share of diaper changes and tummy time fun. :) He's also working hard at work and starting his second year of grad school. I'm definitely a lucky momma.
  • I completely agree with PP! I love this thread to give props to our partners. I don't know how I could have done motherhood without my husband. He takes care of me so well, so that I have energy to take care of our daughter all day. When he comes home from work, seeing the bond between him and our daughter makes me want to cry it's so beautiful!
  • My husband does everything he can when he's home besides the breast feeding part lol I'm so thankful for him. He even gets out of bed before me to bring baby back to our room so I can feed him in the morning. Like right now as I'm feeding our son, he's in the kitchen making us breakfast :) he loves us and it makes my heart happy
  • I was able to get to my Zumba class, stay the whole time, and didn't get 1 single call or text asking how much longer i would be!! I'm so proud of DH. He even took the baby for a walk!
