Hello everyone!
I will be 20 weeks on tuesday, this is my 2nd pregnancy this year (first mmc at 10 weeks) and i cant seem to shake bad feelings between appts. So my main concern/ question is when you ladies are laying down are you able to feel the baby when you push softly on your stomach? And is your bump hard?
I know this is prb a dumb question but google didnt help me and i just want to know if im the only one who cant

i have also not felt baby move and with my first i felt it around 18 weeks. So i am hopefully just being paranoid!
Re: Almost 20 weeks question
Eta: missed the part about you being PGAL - so sorry about your previous loss - that definitely throws us all for a loop sometimes. There's a semi regular PGAL thread I recommend you check into, saw one a day or two ago on the feed. I don't really join in anymore but I do like to read the other posts, helps validate my feelings and I end up getting my positivity back.

I think it's different for everyone. I'm 20 weeks and I can feel her move constantly, and just started feeling her move from the outer part. But, my SIL didn't feel her daughter till much later. When was your last ob appointment? Do you go for appointments monthly or bi weekly? Maybe your doctor can shed some light a bit better then us?
When is your anatomy scan ultrasound? Hopefully it is soon and the tech can confirm that you have a very energetic baby that is just hidden behind your placenta. Soon our babies will be big enough and strong enough that they'll be throwing punches that everyone can feel!
Being PGLA (pregnant after a loss) makes it hard to relax and have an enjoyable pregnancy. With my mc there was no mistaking what was happening so I'm angle to tell myself that if there's no cramping or gushing then the baby must be fine. I can't imagine trying to be calm with a history of mmc. Feel free to check in with us PGLA ladies for support. It's nice to talk to people who've been through it also.
My tummy is also definately getting harder, but I still have the soft little bit of flab that i had previously. When i lay down i dont try to feel for bub, it feels to yuk to touch my tummy when im on my back! I dont know why!
I would let your midwife know though if its stressing you. Wether she can help or not, i find it helps my stress levels that she knows whats going on and says its normal.
Apologies if that doesnt make any sense
I am an average build still have a little chub from our first daughter! Thats y i think its so different i weighed 100 pds with my first so i felt everything!!
Thank you everyone for peace of mind! I am sure it will all turn out fine just need to relax!
I will check out the pgal feed although my app barely lets me post! It keeps telling me i dont have permission to do that. Thats y it took so long for me to reply!
