Weekend Symptoms - August 22-23

Post any symptoms, questions, or concerns here to avoid flooding the board.

How is everybody feeling this weekend? Any nice weekend plans?

I'm up earlier than I want to be because DH is dragging me to an outlet mall. He is full of energy right now and driving me f***ing nuts, I'm on the verge of strangling him, I am NOT a morning person.

Other than that, I'm a little constipated this morning, but nothing to write home about.

  • My sister in law and i are going to the farmers market and then pedicures! DH has to work a half day. Sleeping in was wonderful! I just feel like i have to pee all the time pretty much. Nothing too crazy symptom wise.

  • Round ligament pain since last week.  It's not terrible, just a dull achy feeling down low on my belly.  I've been lucky not to have any stretch marks yet (knocking on wood right now), but I have noticed some spider veins around and behind my knees, which makes me a little sad.  I'm really not a vain person...but my legs are my thing lol.
  • @paigeyferd I know the feeling...my ass is my thing and right now my thing is nasty mushy and that's not okay lol. I only have stretchmarks on my hips so far, which is crazy since my belly has grown so much more, but c'est la vie

  • Night two of crazy dreams about my ex. Like really? I don't wanna dream about that physcotic cheating Lying D bag. It puts me in a weird mood when I wake up and I feel that way all day long. I don't like it.
    Some hip pains today.
Haven't pooped in two days. So that's getting on my nerves.
And I woke up craving the crap out of Chinese food but I can't have it for another week.
  • Constipation is bad and cramps because of it. Vid dreams like crazy but waking up less frequently at night to have to pee, that is nice. Especially since school just started but I go to bed much earlier now, so I'm getting plenty of rest. Husband has sports banquet tonight, not looking forward to it, since the only shoes not killing my feet are sketchers and they don't look good with a dress.
  • 17w2d and feeling great! No nausea whatsoever for the last 3 days, feeling full of energy and sleeping great and last night I felt the little one for the first time! So happy!

  • Just the usual with me, needing to pee all the time and HUNGER. The last few days I've had a lot of round ligament pain nothing horrible though.
  • Is anyone still puking on a regular basis? I was on diclegis, and that helped, besides needing to sleep for 14 hours day.

Doc gave me Zofran, and I'm holding stuff down, I just still feel really sick/gaggy/pukey. Is this normal for almost 19 weeks?! Also that 2 hour bathroom trip thanks to the Zofran was no fun! Better than still losing weight I guess.

Definitely still feeling the nausea I and im right at 17 weeks, I'll have days where I feel totally fine and then seemingly out of nowhere days where I can't even keep water down. I haven't tried zofran but I do take diclegis which definitely helps but doesn't completely stop the vomiting all the time. I'm hoping it ends soon...
  • Looks like we all have some similar things going on. I have many little things that aren't bad but I do have some constipation the last few days and discharge/sweat/possibly urine leaking at a higher rate than I would like. My doctor was fine with it but it is annoying and of course, I worry.

For constipation I am at my last wit which means I will drink coffee today. I have drank so much water, eaten a ton of fruits/veggies, and exercised to no avail.
  • So to add to my earlier comment..
I've been having some serious cramping so I thought to go sit on the toilet. I sat there and every cramp made me feel more and more nauseous. Until finally I puked from the cramps. I was sweating pretty bad too. I laid down afterwards and the cramps are kinda going away. very slowly, but they're not as bad.
  • To everyone dealing with constipation let me be a warning....this is incredibly imbarassing but...... Last Saturday I ended up in L&D triage because after a bowel movement I started bleeding... Guess what?? I ripped my butt!! 3 stitches later and let me tell ya Miralax is my daily best friend!!!!
  • I am extremely sore. No matter how I lay down, I always need to roll out of bed and can barely walk. I didn't know this happened so early. I feel like I'm 80. 18w1d.
  • 20w today, still throw up a few times a week In the morning, can't take my prenatals before I eat breakfast which throws off my morning schedule. Having some Braxton hicks this week, at least that's what I'm assuming they are, serious tightening feeling but they aren't painful and go away with rest and water. The last two days have been the most ridiculous gas pains :( so not nice, hope they are gone after today
  • I'm 20 weeks today. I've been having pain in my groin area for the past couple weeks. I hate walking slow and I have to walk like an old woman now because I'm so sore. It's especially bad if I try to lift one leg, like while shaving my legs in the shower or while putting on pants. I also have obnoxious siatic nerve pain that hinders my ability to walk. So annoying! Am I the only one with these issues?
  • I'm 17+2 today. For the past few days or so, I have noticed that my arms fall asleep/go numb really easily while I am sleeping at night. It seems to only happen if I lay my arms up around my head, like on my pillow. I'm not laying my body on top of my arm, so I assume it is cause by pregnancy. Has anyone else noticed this?

I hear ya ladies! I'm still on diclegis at 21+1 and I feel miserable if I forget to take it!!!

No constipation like the rest of you guys but I'd trade in a heartbeat! I crave pretty much anything dairy but this baby makes my lactose intolerance even worse! (Anyone else have it go that way? With DD my LI went away!) So I've been praying for constipation lol

Only things I'm noticing this week is that my lower tummy is getting hard and the top of my tummy is squishy like a balloon. Feels suuuuper weird.
  • I have had a weird resurgence of crazy fatigued the last two days. It hasn't been this bad since weeks 8-12 when I was sick and constantly tired. I thought second tri was when I was supposed to have tons of energy. Dragging like crazy all weekend. Anyone else get hit with this? Know why it happens?

Have you tried taking your prenatals before bed with a snack? i found that helped me big time!

  • @kvacmak no I haven't tried that yet but I have been considering trying that. I skipped my prenatals this morning bc I was so nauseous already so we'll see how taking them tonight instead goes
  • So much discharge. Ew.
  • Does anybody have any neat tricks to curb this insatiable hunger? I'm getting really tired of constantly eating. And I mean constantly. If I let myself go more than 30 minutes without food, I start to feel nauseous and/or faint. I just don't have time or energy to eat this much!

Also, somehow still have only gained 1lb, despite all the food I'm eating. It's like some peverse magic trick.

  • I've still been getting headaches that sometimes turn into migraines. I've had to take FMLA for a couple days I've taken off work. We also went to the zoo today so I was out in the heat for about 2 hours and I am absolutely exhausted. I'm dreading going to the grocery store :( where is that energy we are supposed to get?

  • @Swells410 I have the same prob with my right leg, it's intermittent, I can walk fine but sometimes I can't physically lift my right leg to put on socks or pants. I have to pick up my leg with my arms! I asked the doc and he said it could be a pregnancy thing and could get worse....(great!). I had a pregnancy massage and she said it could be a trapped nerve or something that an osteopath needs to look at and to keep a close eye on it.

@Sahara26 I have the same problem with my left arm going asleep / dead in the evening.....so very very strange!!
  • @CaraBoonie, have you tried a glass or two of cold water before giving in to eating again? Sometimes this works for me. But I have some days where the hunger is just constant despite the water trick. In these cases I try fruit, soup and almonds as snacks.
  • Really bad gas pains this past week! It's like I have to lay on my side to get it to pass through! Totally my fault though I'll admit I haven't exercised like I probably should and am on a broccoli bender!
  • Not sure if this is a pregnancy symptom or what but I developed joint pains that got really bad Saturday morning. I had pain in my big toes, knees, wrists, fingers and elbows. It was so bad I went to the urgent care. I was tested for strep and uti and both came back negative. The doctor said he didn't know what it was but to call my OB on Monday. I cannot wait until they open! I feel better today, but I'm freaked out. I've never had anything like that happen before.

I've rested been drinking water pretty much tried everything dear Dr Google has suggested with no relief. Suggestions?? Baby girl seems fine she's still having a little dance party on there its Just pretty painful!
