Any tricks for bloat?!

Hi ladies, Just joining now, so first off, HI!
2 ND timer here, but so quickly I feel like I have forgot it all. I've scanned some posts tonight and saw there are quite a few with the annoying bloat...anyone have tips to reduce it? Makes it so hard to hide and it's also not comfortable! Anyway, looking forward to march with all you other mama's!

  • Welcome! Wish I had an answer for you, but sadly I don't. Try drinking as much water as possible and limit sodium. Not sure if that will help, but couldn't hurt I guess. I'm a second timer too and do not remember the bloating being this bad with #1. I feel like a giant water balloon at night, every night. Ugh.

  • Gas X has helped me a little. It takes a while but it seems to help a bit.

    I would just follow the regular tips for avoiding bloat:  

    Avoid carbonated beverages
    Drink a lot of water
    Avoid sodium
    Avoid beans and broccoli
    Go for a walk/be active

    And of course, avoid alcohol, which you are probably already doing.

  • Thanks ladies I'll try more water lol and I'm sure my carb diet isn't helping, but I cant stomach anything but right now!
