What is That??!?

so I had an ultrasound today, little peanut is good, measuring 6w4d and heartbeat is 115 bpm (which I hope is good) but on the picture there is another black spot ... What could that be?

    Well I am not an US tech so don't take my word for it but it looks a lot like my first US with my first pregnancy. We did IVF and transferred two embryos and both imantes but one baby didn't grow, but there was a sac. I find it odd if that's what it was that thy didn't tell you though. Maybe ask next time you go in?

    Thanks everyone. I don't have an appointment till sept 15 with my doctor but I will ask her when I go in. I'm not too worried about it, but am wondering if it was a second one

    My doctor got her receptionist to call and say I'm as far along as we thought and everything looks good... What else could it be if not another sack? The u/s technician wasn't very nice and didn't say very much either... Should I call my doctor?

    I called and of course my doctor and her nurse left already.... Just wish someone knew what that was... Kinda driving me nuts

    It could just be your bladder. Or your bowel.

    Black is fluid on a ultrasound .Its hard to tell from that view .

    It could be nothing but we don't know. Could be a sub chorionic hematoma, your bladder, an empty gestational sac..... Who knows? Hope your doc gives you a solid explanation soon.

    Don't be upset that your sonographer didn't say much. Legally, they're very limited on what they can or cannot tell you. If you ever have questions during your scan, though, just ask! All the sonographers I've worked with are happy to answer questions or get you to the right resource.

    Just updating: everything is fine, the other black spot is I guess a cyst on my ovary!!! Thanks everyone for your comments much appreciated :)
