Any other Dental Assistants?

Just curious if there is any other dental assistants out there I am about 6 weeks and had a miscarriage about 6 months ago so pretty nervous about coming out this time but in my line of work I know there is things I can't be around being a dental assistant. Is it ok if I work on a patent that is being given nitrous and what about me taking X-rays?

    I am going to give her a call tomorrow I know there is a lot of things we can not do to a pregnant patent but not sure of me being around it is still enough for me not to be able to do it.

    I am 6 weeks too, and my husband is a Dentist. He said you shouldn't worry too much about X-rays because where the buttons are located, you would be out of the X-ray danger area. You could also wear an apron if you are nervous about it. Nitrous risks are extremely low if your office uses scavenging equipment. Which almost all nitrous units come equipped with that now. But that is something you can talk to your employer about. If you are nervous, that is something I am sure the dentist would give some leeway for.
