hi all I'm fairly new here. I've been in and out of this board just reading any posts I could relate to or looking around at other boards. I'll once in a while respond to a post that I feel I could share my thoughts on. I hope that's ok! 
. A bit about me- I am a mother of one baby boy. He is one and a half. When we first got pregnant with him it happened right away the first month of trying. We felt so lucky and blessed knowing how hard it is for everybody. After going through hernia surgery and waiting for 6 months for it to heal, we were ready to try again for another baby. We thought well, if the first one was that easy, why not with the second?? So we went for it. First try didn't go, then we tried the following month, then the following... so 5 months of trying and its just not catching so easily this time.
I actually didn't feel that disappointed about not getting pregnant the first or second month so much cause I remember what I went through in my last pregnancy and the really hard delivery & postpartum. I went through it all (the days of labor, the pushing, the c-section...). So I put all my focus on my son and try not to kill myself over it. However lately, all my closest friends have been all of a sudden popping up pregnant and I am just so elated with joy for them! But now I feel more pressure for some reason to have another one so I can relate to them, feel close with them cause we are going through the same thing and have kids one day close in age, which I know would be really nice. Anyway, I hope I'm not annoying to any of you trying for your first, I can understand you and if you don't want me around this board then let me know! Just hoping for some support and good conversation. Best of luck to you all!
