Happy Friday ladies! This is for those of us that are another week closer to baby!
Week/fruit: Week 18, the bump says a sweet potato
Team: (blue/pink/staying green) Currently green until our ultrasound in 2 weeks
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: I had an appointment yesterday. It was quick! Got to hear LO's heartbeat (155) and everything is right on track. I did find out my OB is moving at the end of the year so I will be switching to a new OB in November. My next appointment is our anatomy scan in two weeks! So excited!!
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Last night I slept horribly. Starting about 4:15 I just couldn't get comfortable. My stomach was crampy (not major, more like pressure?) and I couldn't sleep. I went to the couch and our cat meowed and meowed until I had to lock her in a room at 530. So today I am tired and alone at work! Yay?
Question Of The Week/GTKY: What is your least favorite holiday and why? I actually like most holidays but St. Patrick's Day would be my least favorite. It seems like just an excuse to drink a lot and be stupid and most people (at least here) aren't even Irish. (Don't mean to offend, this is just my experience with the holiday in our city.)

Week 17 for me. Onion. Since I've become pregnant, I also love the smell of onions. It's totally weird, but whatever haha
Currently green as well! Next appt is 3 weeks from today when I will be exactly 20 weeks and have my ultrasound.
I had an appt yesterday and just talked to the doc and listened to the heart beat! My blood pressure was high at my last appt before they found the heart beat and then they never re took it. It was high yesterday as well before, but then was great after they found it. I'm talking like almost 25 mmHg lower systolically. So the doc wants me to start taking it at work and keep a little log. I'm hoping it's just anxiety related. Next appt is anatomy u/s 3 weeks from today and it can't come soon enough!!
I am feeling pretty good.....I don't want to jinx myself haha sleeping good and all that
I would have to say 4th of july. I dunno it's always so dang hot and a firework is a firework and a hotdog is a hot dog.
Team Pink! Found out around 12 weeks with blood test, confirmed by ultrasound this week, a very distinct lack of schlong and apparently the tech could even see and measure her ovaries!
Had an ultrasound on Monday and it went well! The tech was able to see and measure all of her organs and bones, but wants us to come back at 20 weeks to have a better view of her heart since she was still small and moving around a lot and she needs an up-close view of all 4 chambers...so my next appointment will be in about 3 weeks and will include another ultrasound, bonus!
Other than digestive issues (diarrhea a couple days ago, now constipation because I ate far too many diarrhea-stopping foods), and allergies (not necessarily pregnancy related even), I'm feeling okay.
I agree with PP about St. Patrick's Day...it just seems like an excuse to get schwasty, and 99% of the people who go out for it aren't Irish. Don't get me wrong, I love me a good drink, but it always means crowded bars, gross green drinks, immature levels of drinking, and a general annoyingness of humans, especially in the city.
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: My last appointment was August 5th, all went well and baby was growing right on schedule. My next appointment is next Wednesday the 26th for my A/S. Very excited for that longgggg ultrasound! Also a bit nervous they slip up and tell us the sex but we are going in prepared.
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Well, other than the sleeping that comes and goes. I was a hormonal mess yesterday. Just having a "woe is me" existential crisis. I'm sure my fiance was VERY pleased with me. We are planning our wedding though... that keeps me pretty excited when my hormones got me down. Physically I really feel fine though, besides the digestive problems that are now to be expected.
Question Of The Week/GTKY: What is your least favorite holiday and why? Probably New Years Eve because there are so many expectations for having a **FUN** night but everywhere is crowded, everyone is too dressed up for how cold it is, and there are way to many engagements. It's just kind of.....over-done to me. I enjoy the new year and bringing it in, but I've never had a NYE where I'm like, BEST NIGHT EVER. I'm always like, BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY EVER. haha.

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: I had an appt at the end of July and it went really well! My next appt is next week - I still continue to go to a specialist to monitor my cervix from a LEEP procedure in 2011.
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I have been a little tired this week - Other than that, I feel GREAT!
Question Of The Week/GTKY: What is your least favorite holiday and why? My least favorite holiday is Valentines day, I have just never been a fan.
Week/fruit: Week 20, halfway!! Bump says banana, just seems so much smaller than the mango of last week

How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Getting a little sick of the endless 'How are you feeling' questions, and my tolerance for all types of annoyances has gone down, but overall doing well. Seem to be sleeping better this week so that's a HUGE plus
Question Of The Week/GTKY: What is your least favorite holiday and why? Not a huge holiday person overall, don't really like to decorate the house and get really sick of seeing all the decorations and stuff for sale in stores all the time. Don't have a specific least favorite, although New Years Eve always seems to be such a let down.
We're team green for now. Should have an ultrasound in about two weeks to find out the sex. Can't wait! It will be the first ultrasound for us, so even more exciting!
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: We have an appointment tomorrow, just a check up. Last one was standard too, HB at 155 and uterus growing well. Next one, after tomorrow, will be the ultrasound! Eeee! (Can you tell I'm excited?!)
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I feel great! *Knock on wood* Some skin issues, but getting better with use of African black soap. Phew!
Question Of The Week/GTKY: What is your least favorite holiday and why? I hate Valentine's day...with a passion. It feels forced, like a competition of whose relationship is best. I avoid social media at all costs on that day. I just hate it. Gag!
