So I am sharing a room with another woman and I'm a little concerned.
When her baby cries, at night, she will refuse to pick her baby up and will say things like
"No no no, I'm not picking you up"
" why don't you ever put this show on for you daddy"
" enough I'm not picking you up every time you cry"
Now she is thumping the table to stop her baby from crying.
I'm seriously worried. I fear if my child starts crying she will lash out at me.
I'm hopefully being discharged tomorrow.
Do I say something to the midwives ???

But yes maybe quietly mention something to the MW. You should feel comfortable with your baby and learning to feed/cry, you don't need the extra stress. Also maybe she needs some extra support and help- good luck!
Blessed
I just feel so sorry for this baby
