jogging stroller/carseat deal!

So right now Target has a deal where if you buy a specific BOB jogging stroller, you get a free BOB B-SAFE infant carseat. They also have $75 off $400 select baby items, which the stroller and carseat are included in. If you sign up for the Target Baby texts, you get a "10% off your online order deal". Aaaaaaand if you have a red card, you get an additional 5% off your purchase, with free shipping. So all together, for a $370 jogging stroller, and a $170 infant carseat, I paid $290 including tax. I save $251. Im sooooo excited about this, and I figured I would share for any moms that still need a stroller and/or carseat. Sorry if everyone already knew about this!

Why is this brand so much more than ie. Graco.... If it's a great brand then it's a great deal.

my sister has a BOB and loves it. She thinks that it is great on multiple terrains and roomy enough even as your baby becomes a toddler. She did suggest ordering the attachment for the handlebar area with the pouch and cup holder because it doesn't come with anything.

And the brand is pricier because it's better quality. Watch some of the reviews of YouTube and you'll see. It's more of an all terrain jogger, with inner tube and air filled tires. It has great suspension that's adjustable. It's one of the best joggers out there.

Definitely a difference in quality. The BOB Motion is not a jogging stroller--it's a regular stroller but with all-terrain wheels (they aren't plastic or foam, they are filled with air which makes for a super smooth ride). My sister has one for her daughter that I've "test driven" and it really is superior to brands like Graco and Chicco.

This is awesome! However, I was noticing in the fine print that you need to buy an adaptor to make the two compatible - do they sell that at Target as well? I may buy it now too, since I'm getting free shipping anyway. Or, do you ladies who own these just use them as totally separate items? (Sorry, I'm a FTM and a stroller/car seat newbie, so I'm not sure how important compatibility is.)

It depends. With the jogging stroller you can just buy the adapter on Amazon or any store that carries the stroller should have them. If you get the BOB motion travel system is already has the adapter.

@maureenmce I'm buying the adaptor off someone in town for $20 but I think they go for $60 online. I would go ahead and buy it now. I got the one for the bob/ britax infant seat

Just a heads up that you can get the Bob stroller (free car seat) deal from any retailer who sells them until end of August. We purchased ours from Amazon...it was $100 cheaper there than what I saw from Target and the model selection offered seemed to be better as well.

A little info I gained. I asked my co-worker, mom of 2 if she had any BOB brand items. She hasn't heard of it so she looked it up for me and found it was the same maker as Britax which she did have for a car seat. She told me her husband researches everything before they buy, and that he did all the research for their car seats and thy ended up buying a Britax due to great reviews and safety ratings. She told me that if the brand wasn't so expensive that she definitely would have got a stroller but since they paid full price for a Britax car seat that's all they bought. That made me feel really excited about this deal!
