IUD - Can you feel it?

Have any of you tried to feel the string of your IUD? I've had mine for about a month and I could always feel it, but last night after DH and I dtd, I tried to feel it and couldn't. My OB did say that I shouldn't stress because the string usually curls up into the cervix, but I can't help but be a little worried. I can't afford an appointment right now just for reassurance.

Wondering if any other IUD mamas can't feel theirs?

Sorry, I've had mine for 6 weeks now and can still feel them.

I actually just felt it... I think my position was bad last night. Feeling dumb now, lol.

Only had mine for a couple weeks and I don't feel anything. Neither does DH. So far this is the best birth control I've ever been on!! Lol

Can any of you tell me how bad it was to get the iud inserted? I am getting one next month but am nervous about the pain. Which is ridiculous since you would think after childbirth I wouldn't fear pain anymore lol
