Heated pools in pregnancy?

I know to stay away from jacuzzi and spas, but i really feel like a swim! Not Going in the sea here as is currently middle of winter, but do you think the pools would be okay? The water there probs isnt even as warm as my showers but i wonder if there is something to do with how long you stay in?

    I asked my on/gyn about this and she said it shouldn't be a problem. She said it's more about you keeping a safe body temp and most heated pools are no where near that warm to cause any harm.

    Thats what i figured, but was worried that there might be some obvious concern that i wad totally missing lol

    I'm an avid runner and I was looking for alternatives to running and asked about swimming in heated pools because I'm a wimp when it comes to cold water. She said as long as my body temp stays below 102 F it should be fine.
