20 weeks, cramping is happening, wondering if gas pains can be really painful? I went to the washroom so I am not constipated. not sure what else this is
Make sure to drink lots of water. Once you think you have drank enought, drink more!! Sit and have a rest. If it doesn't subside soon make sure to contact a doctor.
I cramp a lot. I think I know my different cramps and when to worry. Like PP said guzzle water, get off of your feet and only you know what your normal is so if it feels off definitely call your dr.
I'm high risk as I have had bleeding - like a period- for a month now and have hematomas and a partial placental abruption.
I have been on bed rest and feeling every pain imaginable especially because I have all the time to just examine each pain.
Cramping started and I freaked especially after all the other risks.
The midwife came over and examined my stomach. While pre term labour can start by just general cramps to really be in pre term labour you would expect your stomach to start hardening. Also for it to progress to waves of craps.
Other explanations for cramps is digestive. It's all getting squishy in there and gas and even needing to go can make it all spasm and feel crampy.
Also body aches and pains. I ache my lower back and hips just have a dull ache that I could describe as crampy but I think is just a from the increased pressure and changes.
Anyway my doc said that if your stomach feels like a watermelon when cramping or is gardening when you lie down and feel it definitely go in. Otherwise there are other explanations.
