MFI (Teratozoospermia)

I want to start off by saying I am new here, but actually used to work for a fertility specialist! We have been try to conceive for 1 year now and just went to see a different RE. I am waiting for D1 and then will be having an HSG. My husband just had a semen analysis and everything was perfect EXCEPT for morphology. 100% of his sperm had abnormal heads. I'm looking into starting him on multivitamins but don't want to be scammed by GNC or some other company making me spend hundreds of dollars on this stuff. So, my question to you is this: What did you buy? Did it work? Was it worth it? Also, what habits did your husband change? Did it work? Thank you so much and good luck!

We did the FertileAid for men. My DH's morph wasn't that bad, but you could start there. Also, acupuncture, organic foods and TCM can help. Good luck!

DH had 2% morphology. I gave him CoQ10 300mg and he took Fertility Blend for men. His recently was up to 6%, so it is improved but not awesome still. I would say with 0% morphology you would most likely want to be doing IVF with ICSI but taking things like CoQ10 cannot hurt

What did your RE recommend doing treatment wise?

My DH went from abnormal to low normal with TCM, but went to very normal with Multivitamin, C-1000, L-Carnitine (500 mg) and Co Q-10 (200 mg). The RE "prescribed" it. We had lots of mild to moderate FF and MF, so we can't say which one thing made the difference - but as part of the whole, I am sure it made a positive difference - his sperm integrity was 100% after 3 mos. FX for you!

Thanks for the advice! One day after posting this I still hadn't started my period, so I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! I am currently 6 weeks 5 days pregnant! I already had my first ultrasound and everything looks great. It was a roller coaster week and a true miracle!

You are what you eat and the environment you set yourself in. Take away toxicity! Start with eating organic have more freshly made juices and a lot more green veggies. No processed meat (deli meat) is filled with harmful preservatives. Don't want to scare you but what come out of your body is a direct reflection of what you put into it. Go to whole foods and buy a good multi. Increase exercise nothing crazy but sweating out the toxins is another form of cleansing the junk. Stop smoking and limit drinking and zero drugs. Some natural herbs to include in your cooking regime: oregano*, basil, rosmary, tumeric*. Cut out all soda. If you don't water you plants with it then why injest it? Water all the way!!! Hope this helps! It's a start. Pills help but lifestyle is key! All the best! Cheers !!!
