1st Pregnancy and 1st Songram reveal craaaazzy news!!

I'm new to this, 1st time ever being pregnant. Im almost 7 weeks and I've had a bit of spotting which made me really nervous because it lasted over a week. It was dark red/brown so dr assumed it was old blood. Had my 1st sonogram yesterday and the little pea is doing great. Interestingly enough my Dr. said there was a 2nd sack in my uterus!!! A baby didn't development in it, but there was a double gestational which means I almost had TWINS!!! (Twins run heavily in my family, but I dnt think Im ready for that just yet;) . He assumes that why I've been spotting for so long. Crazzyyyy.

    I am a twin. When I had my first scan, the doctor said "oh, good- there is only one in there"

    I wanted to ask her what would be wrong with two?! (although twins scare me, as much as I LOVE being a twin)

    Twins are a high risk pregnancy.
    My TTC History:
    2009: missed miscarriage #1 at 9 weeks (trisomy 16)
    2010: Infertility
    2011: Diagnosis and treatment (low sperm count, anastrozole for DH, clomid for me + IUI)
    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
    October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

    I already have twins.... and my hcg at 15 dpo for this pregnancy 707.... doc was like we need to check for one or two.... LAWD I almost died...
    today.... a week later (I know every 2 days is when u draw but I kinda stuck my head in the sand d/t a recent loss) and hcg was 8500.
    Whew.... I dodged that bullet
